    This version doesn't have the greatest reviews… Seems a bit buggy, peeps are sad.

    Experience Dead Island in crisp full HD

    Oh you mean like I did when it was originally released in 2011 by setting the resolution to 1920x1080? What a shitty gimmick.

      they updated texture and model quality for the 'HD remake' from what was in the original release in 2011.

      Shitty gimmick? do you know what a Definitive Edition release is?
      Do you think all games are limited to your shitty 1080 resolution? Did it occur to you that perhaps resolutions higher than 1920x1080 are available and quiet possibly enabled in these editions?

      Here's a list of what's potentially updated/changed in these HD releases;

      • Higher resolution, frame rates
      • better graphical qualities e.g textures, models,
      • Use of better processing effects including anti aliasing, ambient occlusion, texture filtering, etc

      So as far as I'm concerned, I don't think it's a shitty gimmick…

      • My resolution is actually 1440p but the fact is they stated full HD which IS 1080p whether you want to argue it or not.

        Regardless, the game sucked. Dying Light wins every day.
