Recent Positive Experience Report - ShoppingSquare eBay, September 2017

I am writing as I believe my recent experience with shoppingsquare eBay should be acknowledged.

I purchased an LG G6 and Xiaomi Powerbank 2 during the recent PICNIC20 promotion, and initially, I had very low expectations based on others' and mine's previous experiences.

I was pleasantly surprised this time around when:

• the powerbank arrived within one week of purchase (AU stock)
• the phone arrived within around two weeks, significantly earlier than their advised date (HK stock).

The arrival of the phone was a great surprise as I had already accepted that it will come later, around late October, like most of the things I've bought HK or CH bound.

Thought I'd share to hopefully reassure some guys who've recently made purchases through these guys.

  Good on you for posting; people usually just post complaints.

    Thanks, yeah a lot of times, people satisfied don't bother posting because they are busy enjoying their purchase/experience.

  I apologize, but isn't that how the outcome is suppose to be?

  You pay for the item, seller ships it, you receive it?

  Can't see anything special about this.

    No you're absolutely right, it is what the outcome should be. I'm just very happy about it.

    Definitely not special at all, man, just the fact that they said shipping will take four weeks and it didn't is what i was very pleased about.

    I think the point is that in general a lot of the feedback on forums about retailers is negative or they are complaints rather than acknowledging a positive experience when it does occur.

  On reading their EBay feedback comments it would appear that many, many buyers are not as impressed with the shipping time and service as you have been fortunate to experience.

    Is it because people with positive experiences don't bother commenting or leaving feedback, while dissatisfied people will shout from the hills?

  Do you receive your phone still in sealed condition??

    Yeah man. My phone was all sealed up and have all stickers and such.

    The charger they sent was outside the box, but i still use the original one i just use an adapter.

      Lucky for you, I received my S8 with seal broken and fingerprints all over. Maybe its because the model that I bought or maybe I'm just unlucky. However, I have seen lots of cases for people buying S8 with seal already broken upon arrival.
