  • Bought one. Thank op

  • Does it come in notyellow?

Yes it does. The same drive in black, list price + $50 wow.

This is what happens when you hit reply instead of edit.

WD Blue/Red/Black? Can remove and use as an internal drive?

    • Think it's a no from memory, seagate portable slim for around the same price works though

  • This new design is thick. Even the 2TB ones.

  • Bought one, thanks!

  • Mmmmmm looks like a block of cheese with grate marks

    • We just need an optional attachment now, so it can be double purposed as a mouse trap

  • Not a bad deal. Yellow is far easier to find than black, esp. when you don't like turning the lights on.

It's like a mobile phone, have a black one and you'll forever be looking for it once you put it down. But can you bring yourself to buy any other colour? Pleugh! So u get sensible and buy a clourful casing.

You can't buy colourful casings for portable drives ;-)

  • Mine arrived. Least it is colour that no one will claim it is theirs unless fellow ozbargainer who also brought one….

  • Anyone else receive the 1TB version instead of the 4TB? Or am I just a lucky ducky?
No more Amazon for me. Too many mistakes. They're Sh**house IMAO

  • Did anyone who bought one of these have any trouble getting your TV to read it? It works fine on my computer but when I plugged it into the TV watch a movie from it it doesn't work, it says it's there on the TV but nothing opens?

    • Have you formatted the drive in NTFS or FAT32?
I think most TVs and gaming consoles can only read FAT32.

      • I have formatted it in NTFS and exFAT both don't work, I have partitioned it into 2 and then 4 portions because I thought maybe my TVs can't read a harddrive over 2tb, none of this works and I have tried it all the different ways on 3 different TVs! It's works perfectly fine on my computers just not the TVs.

  • Appears the black and white 4TB ones are now $2 usd more now than this expired deal.
