Come on beer connoisseurs, what's your take on this deal? All the amateurs are waiting for your opinion :)

    • We think they are a-ok cheaty. :)

  • I got a mixed case of Dad’n’Dave’s beers a while ago and I thought the #2 was disgusting. The candy notes were horrible.

    • Sorry we couldn't find something that you loved tomski182. Keep your eyes peeled for our next deal though. Hopefully it will be something you enjoy.

      Cheers

Postage is pricey! No discount for more than 1 case. 4 beers are mid strength as well.

      1. Why would you expect postage discount I doubt they can just tape the 3 boxes together and get them to you safely.

      2. Why would you want 8-12 beers that you don't know you like?

      • Spot on about the shipping Slippery Fish.

Sometimes the beers you haven't tried yet are the ones you love the most though :)

    • Thanks for the feedback garth69. Sdaly beer is a super heavy item and expensive to ship. You'd probably have noticed that most of the sales that offer free shipping are for light items (like t shirts etc) where you can bundle them all together.

We do appreciate it's a frustration for you. It is for us too!

Hopefully our next selection is more up your alley.

      Cheers

I just don't get why it's $10 to ship each case no matter if it's Sydney or Perth. My mate & I were quite keen on a case each if it was shipped free…….

Don't ask you don't get. Thanks Op

Sorry garth69. We made a decision some time ago to make a flat rate for all. It does mean we take a hit sometimes. We'd love to do free shipping for all but don't think we'd last in business for too long!

If you're in Sydney and can swing by to pick them up, the code pickup50 will remove the shipping charge.

          Cheers

      • You guys sell tshirts? I'd be interested to see what you have.

        • Coming soon jayz. It's something we've been working on.

          We'll keep you posted!

  • I also don't rate a lot of these beers. Seems to be the not so great sellers.

    • Sorry they aren't to you liking serpserpserp.

There were some of our best sellers from previous months, that's how they make it into our mixed cases. Hopefully our next selection will hit the spot for you.

      Cheers

      • Did I get negged for that? lol.

The pick for me out of the lot was the bucket boys drop. But there are other dark beers i'd rather sink my money into before going back for more.

Each to his own I guess.

  • Hi OP, just wondering if you do a Ginger Beer sampler/mixed case??

    • +2

Hey JoshRidgway. We don't at the moment, but funny you should mention that. Our beer buyers came across some great Ginger Beers last week and we are keen as mustard to get them on the site.

If you send you email to [email protected] we can add you to the mailing list with a special offer for when they launch.

      Thanks for reaching out.

      Cheers

      • Great! Will do 👍🏻

    For the beer newbies.

Six String Golden Ale: Pretty average, also only 3.5% (which is pretty pricey for a mid strength).
Dad + Dave's IPA: Not for me, strange type of sweet IPA. Also relatively low %ABV.
Two Heads Lager: Nope. I personally wouldn't pay that much for a lager.
Bucket Boys Brown Ale: Never tried, would be the only one I'd be interested in sampling.

This pack normally retails for $79? Seems a bit rich.

I'd be interested in any other future deals though :)

      Hi jayz.

You'll be happy to know that the Dad and Dave's #2 just picked up a silver at the Sydney Royal Beer and Cider competition (https://web.facebook.com/dadndavesbrewing/?ref=br_rs) - At 5.5% we thought it was a decent drop.

Sorry you're not keen on the selection though.

Flick through your email though to [email protected] and what you love to drink and we'll be sure to keep you in the loop.

      Cheers

      • Hey guys, I did see they recently won a prize. Hence the wording 'not for me' :)

        • Thanks mate. What's your beer of choice?

        • +1

          @Craft Cartel Liquor:

According to my Untappd my top rated beers are Casey Family Preserves Blackberry Saison, Lawson's Sip of Sunshine IPA and Dangerous Man Peanut Butter Porter. So looks like I enjoy everything. Although it's hard to find good sours in Australia :)

  • Good deal for beer hunters in my opinion. Especially those in rural areas that dont have a specialty beer shop nearby.

I am making the assumption these are fresh beers that were brought in for the Sept promo, and not old stock.

Under $3.10 a bottle delivered - cant really beat that.

Looking forward to trying the Brown Ale.

    • Thanks OzyBe. We thought they were pretty good too!

You are right. Nothing old in the stock. It was specifically bought for this months promos.

Any feedback welcomed. Feel free to email us any time - [email protected]

      Cheers

Very tempted to order… but Fastway couriers makes it pretty impossible to receive the order if you have a 9-5 job and live in an apartment.

  • I live right by Bucket Boys' shop and the Porridge beer is fantastic, I regularly buy it. It's a smooth and slightly sweet dark ale - full bodied but easy to drink.

The others though - well, I'm just not a fan of European style beers. If there was a mixed craft case that was themed on IPA, Pale/Golden, Brown/Dark, or something like that, I would definitely be happy to pay for beers I haven't tried.

    • What about European Trappist beers?
