    i thought i read somewhere Fifa 18 on ps4/xbox should be more expensive than the switch version.

      Jb for me anyway have always price matched other ps4 games. As long as you have the catalogue or show them the picture on your phone they will. EB are a bit stricter because they have certain terms- the shop that your're price matching has to be in the same shopping centre and have stock. Rarely happens, depends if your're local Eb games is friendly or not.

        I've always hated EB games but that is just crap price matching is meant to save to a trip to another store

      I've never had a problem with the two EB shops I use regularly (Chadstone and The Glen) and they dont even have a Big W in them but I've heard of others who have had problems with them price matching.

      Ronaldo version you get to play the game right now,while this one you wait until Friday to play. You get 20 jumbo packs compared to 5 on the standard (15 jumbo packs are worth around $30) although not really worth it. Both come with Ronaldo for 5 games and 8 kits.

          Depends if you play Fifa Ultimate Team or not but the early access can make a huge difference if you are heavily into the mode and rack up coins while others can't play plus the extra packs don't hurt either.

      Love playing Fifa with mates but if I buy a year I usually keep it for 3 years or so until I get the next one as the changes are too subtle. Just sold my xbox one and got a Ps4 Pro last week, so I will pick up the new fifa this time.

    Hmm. Even though I bought a Switch for sports gaming as I'm pretty casual on that side of things… $64 is pretty good, but I'm wondering - what's that headset like? Tempted to get FIFA so I can get the headset for $20, then trade FIFA in at EB and buy the switch version as my Official PS4 headset just broke -that's 3 in 3 years-, so looking for a new one.

      I was dead set on getting the Switch version, till I read that it is inferior to the other versions. Animations and controls (when sharing joy cons) are poorer. On top of this, it is missing “The Journey” which is a major part of FIFA 18. If you can live with this, then the Switch version will be $69 at Target. I can’t, so will be getting the Xbox version.

      Yeh to play online and fifa ultimate team (best game mode imo) you will need a membership.

      yes. if you dont care about online cloud storage, then go with Indonesian PS Plus, you get mostly the same games but costs like AUD 35 for 12 months.

    Has anyone gone into Big W or Jb Hifi today and asked for it? Just went to JB as I have a mate who works there gave me standard edition just then :) If you go into either store and act out like you don't know the release date and ask if it's in stock there's a 50/50 chance you could get it today. Let me know how you go!
