  Well, it arrived safely with all parts accounted for. As mentioned, power cable was international but its just a figure 8 cable so i have tonnes floating around the house. Just need to read up, download the relevant apps (DJI Go) and buy another lighting cable to connect to the controller. Will also look into a spare battery but dont think i can justify $100+…

      Sir. We are sorry for the battery issue.Since the drones have stayed quite a time in our warehouse. You can contact our customer service and ask for a refund to buy a new battery in Amazon.

        I emailed support they have no idea what I am on about and said they can’t find my order ???

        Have replied again with video of battery not charging and email address/order number.

    not sure about the abn/acn (arent they a non aussie company who just have a warehouse here for some stock…?) but i also dont think there is a way to get an invoice for warranty purposes….anyone?

      what about tax? I got mine today, never got tracking number emailed. This might just be the best deal I have ever had so far, shame it couldn't be trusted initially. Fingers crossed my battery is fine, its flashing and each bar is growing when charging, I think that's a good sign?

  Has anyone been able to successfully register their machine with DJI? If so, they will give you a 12 month warranty on the aircraft and six months on the battery (possibly more if you insist on your Australian consumer law rights). This seems to be the case only if it was bought from a legitimate DJI distributor. Private sales such as those from an individual on ebay or those from grey markets probably don't qualify.

  This has been a very unusual deal. If ozbargainers thought for one second it was legit, it would have been sold out in minutes. I took the plunge early on. I weighed up the misinformation about free postage and thought even with the postage, its a great deal. The company is not really responsive and their written responses just OK. I asked via email if the had a second one i could purchase. they found me one. payment for the second drone was crazy. i was sent a link for a 1USD misc. item. no description. they asked me to buy 399 of them. i did - i paid - i placed trust once more. the second drone arrived. amazing deal. thank you OP. $540AUD for a brand new Phantom 3 PRO is an amazing price. the seller finding me a second one is even more amazing. they tell me its the last one. i got lucky twice.
