  • Need More Data?

    Hi Ozbargainers.

If you need more data for your journey overseas, don't forget we also sell voucher PINS for these SIM cards without requiring you to have a UK Based Credit Card, as the three Website only allows for Top Ups if the credit card is registered with a UK address.

We sell voucher PINS directly to customers, so if your running low on data, or your abroad for more than 30 days, follow this link:
    https://soeasy.travel/collections/recharge-vouchers

We want to be as informative as possible for the OZB community, just ask a question and we'll be happy to help!

If I am reading correctly, this deal was advertised less than a week ago for 40% off? This is more expensive now, only a week later.

    • Hi JDR

Were constantly testing the demand of our Travel SIM cards, as this is a new product we have released, Oz Bargain is the perfect platform to test the demand for a product. We use the communities suggestions and guidelines to find a bargain price point that the OZB community are happy and willing to pay for.

If you notice our earlier stages of operations and other deals, we constantly post different percentages to assess the demand of a certain product.

Hope that clears any confusion about this JDR.

      Best Wishes

      Amanda

  • When it says: "bundle (credit) expires 1 month after not recharging" - Does this mean as soon as you activate the credit card you have 1 month before the included credits expire?

I'm travelling overseas in December, so if I order it now and I don't activate it, the credit still be there when I activate in December?

    • Hi bazza

all this means is that the bundle has a validity of 30 days.

I will go ahead and correct the description so that other ozbargainers can be clarified.

      Best Wishes.

      Amanda

    • So Basically,

the SIM card and credits ONLY activate once the SIM card is inserted in the phone.

If the SIM has not been inserted or has still not been activated then there is no shelf life!

You can keep it for as long as you like!.

Hope that clears up the confusion bazza1980

When do you think Japan will be added to the list?

    • Hi Lacnet

We are working on stocking Japanese SIM cards very soon, if you wish to subscribe to our mailing list, we can let you know when we are going to stock Japanese SIM Cards

      Best Wishes

      • Yes, Please have a deal on Japanese sims

  • What exactly does "uk numbers only" for calls and texts mean please? That the SIM will only work on calls and texts if you're in the UK and on a UK network?? If so I assume the data allowance could still be used for VOIP calls and messages like Skype everywhere else?? And finally whose network does this service use in the USA and is it 4G??

    Please clarify the followings, Thanks

    1. You say the SIM card can be activated in any of 60 the destinations
But 3 UK website says the opposite,
      http://support.three.co.uk/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBISAPI.DLL?Command=New,Kb=Mobile,Ts=Mobile,T=Article,varset_cat=roaming,varset_subcat=4157,Case=Ext(EM38751)
"Feel At Home works automatically when you arrive in a Feel At Home destination. If you’re a Pay As You Go customer, you’ll need to have activated your SIM and made a chargeable event such as making a call, sending a text or getting online, in the UK first."

    2. You say the 3000 minutes calls and texts are UK numbers only
But 3 UK says "If you’re in a Feel At Home in Europe destination we’ll also remind you that calls to local numbers, between Feel At Home in Europe destinations, will also come out of your allowance."

    3. Please correct me if I am wrong:
Users enjoy 4G speed in UK only, for all other countries, 3.5G speed only.

Bought couple of these SIM cards yesterday, sent a text AND an email… so far I've been met with complete silence. Will keep you guys posted as to how long it takes for the sim cards to arrive….

    • 6 days since I bought the SIM cards and sent that email, still no response and no SIM cards. Did get a reply via text message from someone who claims to be the ‘Director of So Easy Travel’. He replied Thursday morning saying that the SIM cards have been sent the night before. Will give it a few more days before contacting them again.

      • Finally received the sim cards in the mail. Still no email response though - customer service almost non-existent!
