That pan is horrendous , even eggs stick to it if the oil is not perfect

Bought a $12 cast iron pan from ALDI and it's great

$17 delivery makes it a unbargain for me.

    No store pickup.

  • This product is currently out of stock.

  • Shipping $10 for me. Do you know where is it made?

The impact range is made in China. The classic range and above are the only ones made in Denmark. You do pay (a lot) more but they're so much better. Better heat dispersion and much, much easier to clean.

That said, I don't use mine (classic range) for most meats (the exceptions being chicken and fish). Nothing beats a good barbecue or cast iron for red meat or pork.

I, unfortunately, have the entire set of these.

The frypan handles are extremely uncomfortable and unergonomic, the glass lids will get crap under the metal rim and look awful and the metal itself tarnishes and gets water spots extremely easy.

At this price it's a decent deal, but I certainly wouldn't pay full price for them.

I have the entire set, but I've been very happy with mine. The frying pan is easy to stick to, but no more than any other SS pan I've used before. I haven't had that issue with the lids but I don't tend to fill the pots up that high. Mine still look almost new at two years old.

Having said this, they go on sale frequently, so don't buy full price.

Frypan handle is awful and uncomfortable (try it with the really large saute pan to see just how terrible it is).

And I don't see the point of glass lids, only reason manufacturers use them is to save money.

Glass is easier to break, heavier and fogs up anyway so it's pointless.

Would never buy glass lids again.

      • I have these for about 2 years and am happy with mine so far. I am not the chef type though so I might not be too knowledgeable about ergonomics of cookwares. I am too lazy to season pans which is why I prefer stainless over cast iron. :)

    • I have the pots and am very happy.

For frypan I prefer non-stick and lighter weight. You can get the ikea $10 one and change it every 12 months, works better than any expensive pan IME.

    • Lol Scab you really hate these pans! That said I have it too and it's my second most hated pan. The most goes to the green pans I got. Claims to be non stick but sticks like a MF..but I'm too much of a tightarse to throw them out

  • Damn, I needed five of these!

    • Unlucky, Penguin.

  • Deal link not working, looks like its ended?

  • Looks sold out.
