Would be a decent game if it wasn't for all the DLC.

    • +6

Don't need it though, base game has a lot of playability.

Forzathon events nearly every weekend give away extra cars etc

    • +2

i mean, it's 91 @ metacritic, i'd say it's "decent" as is, the hot wheels stuff is cream on top

      • -1

I'm just an old man who thinks you shouldn't remove stuff from the game to sell as DLC… :)

        • +7

They are more like true expansion packs than DLC. I feel the same about day one DLC but not things that come out months later.

        • +3

i mean, in many cases you would be right but i just dont think FH3 is a game where sections were cordoned off for DLC, it's a massive game already, too big if anything

  • +2

im hanging out for a forza 7 deal man, mightyape is 72 delivered, im wondering if target or big w will have it for less than 70?

    • Buy Russian region gift card online, and change region on your xbox one, then you should pay less than 40 for it.

      • it's still about 60, i have been considering it but u need 4 x gift cards from g2a and it's about 60 or so. I would've done it already but im waiting to see if it's like 64 from target cos that would be better.

it's a pity there's no way to get egyptian gift cards, cos:
        http://www.xbox-now.com/game/7075/forza-motorsport-7-standar…

        • -1

          @scuderiarmani: those prices aren't correct

500 rub is 13.50, u need 4 = $54 and that's before G2A puts on their inflated paypal $1 per purchase or whatever, so i think you'll find im right and it's actually more than 60

dont worry about what the conversion is and says its 43 - u can't get it for under 60

if you want to prove me wrong go buy the cards for and game for less than 60 and i'll eat my hat

        • +1

@Iggemo: What does G2A have to do with buying from Russia? I paid $42.87 on the 25th of September for my 2x 1000 RUB gift cards.

        • @Hayness: where did u get the gift cards???

          edit: nvm i assume plati?

thanks man! im going to look into this cos if it's 42 im in for sure!

btw what was the download size? i couldnt find that info on the site

        • +1

@Iggemo: Yes, I bought my cards from plati. The exact items I bought no longer appear on plati though.

The download is 99gb, I found if I paused the update it would fail and I needed to start over again. I recommend leaving your PC on to complete the full download in one go.

        • @Hayness: yeah i got it for about that price ~$42.80 or so, 67 gig download on xbox one

i was aware of buying from other regions but i didnt know where to get the gift cards so i appreciate that info, cheers m8

    • Microsoft rewards takes 35 days worth of grinding for it.
i'm getting Motorsport 7 for free.

      • So $2/day and how much grinding?

        • +7

Using 2 Microsoft accounts you do the following for both account every day for 35 days (maybe less as they sometimes have quiz's for extra points)

First off you use three google chrome extensions
          Binger
User-agent (makes it look like you are using a mobile device.)
          Windscribe free vpn

Set Bing as your browser search engine.

There are 5 regions which you will have to do 60 total Bing web searches in 30 PC Browser searches 30 Mobile Browser searches on the Bing search engine (Use User-agent to look like your using a mobile device)

Using Binger (Binger will automatically do 30 searches without any user interaction you just need to set the amount of searches and click start) you sent the number of searches to 30 and click start you do this for the 30 PC searches and 30 Mobile searches(for mobile searches be sure to use User-agent to make it look like you are using a mobile device)

Now do the above 30 PC and 30 Mobile searches but using the VPN and work your way through all the other 4 locations Microsoft rewards is available in.

Australia (these searches are done without any VPN)
          United Kingdom
          United States
          Canada
          France
          Germany

Microsoft rewards uses Point system you can get 1000 points JUST from the web searches you will also have 10 point daily offer for every region.

So every day on a Single Microsoft account you can earn 1060 points 1060 x 35days = 37100 points.

Now you can redeem these points for a $50 windows store gift card which also works on xbox.
$50 gift card cost 36000 points See here
But remember if you do all those searches on two accounts you will have enough for two $50 gift cards.

        • Sorry if that is confusing used to be easier but they patched it so now you need the vpn.

        • +2

          @Axelstrife:

Yeesh that's some grinding for $100!

        • +1

@Spackbace: About 20-30 minutes work everyday at least for me i have my laptop next to me at my desktop so i do both accounts searched at the same time.

        • +1

@Axelstrife: imagine all that time you could be playing the game.

        • -1

@OnlinePred: Cant afford the game personally atm just spent $589 on a new CPU, Motherboard and CPU cooler not that i'd ever spend that much on any game on release.

Besides this is ozbargain and a few clicks a day shouldn't be too much work for something that's $100 such as a Game for Ozbargainers.

It isn't taking away from gaming time at all trust me lol

        • +2

@Axelstrife: All depends on how much your time is worth (and obviously related - age & job status). 30mins per day = 15hrs a month for $100 = $6.66p/h. I'd say worth it for me when I was younger out of my free time, but not at all these days. I'm still a tightarse, but my time is worth more now. ;)

        • @Axelstrife: you could be playing it. Way too much effort.

        • @OnlinePred: Nope this weekend im playing the Call of duty WWII PC beta.

But thanks for the neg vote wish i new why you felt that was nessasary.

        • @Axelstrife: 20-30 mins a day for over a month is extreme, even for an ozbargainer. Literally your could pick up a side job make more money faster, and now of it.

  • Is CDKeys one of the possibly dodgy sites, or are they 100% legit?

    • +1

      Purchased few times.

Never had any drama from them, always worked

  • +1

Not to be a pest but can you put the full price in title and then in brackets put price with 5% facebook discount in brackets or (extra 5% off with facebook)
I just dont have facebook and despite you mentioning it thought it was an extra 5% with facebook

    • I don't have Facebook either but you can still get a discount code from there.
I'll see if I can find a direct link to the current code again.
Looks like they've found a way to stop direct linking to the code now.

    • +1

Doesn't take long to set up a dud FB account, and useful for free Domino's etc :)

      • -1

Yeah but that means I've got an account. That's what I don't want.

    • You do not need a Facebook account.

      https://www.facebook.com/cdkeyscom/app/393344207416996/

Paste in a web browser where Facebook isn't logged in i just tried edge browser and enter your email addresand theres your code.

      • +1

That was the link I saw before but didn't know if it needed a valid email address and honestly didn't bother trying.
Found around 7 horizon 3 codes on ebay for less so bought one of those anyways.

        • Thanks mate. Got it for $30 off ebay this morning with code sent instantly.

  • +1

    Thanks Op!

Downloading right now on windows 10

  • Downloading right now for PC. Is it normal to get Forza Horizon 3 with it? Because I did.

The Microsoft store on PC is downloading both games right now lol.

    • +1

      Both games…?

    • +9

yes mate, when you buy forza horizon 3, forza horizon 3 is normally included, lel

      • +11

Oh crap. I thought I bought Forza 7. God damn it.

I just saw forza and got so excited and didn’t even realise it was horizon 3. HOW!? OH MY GOD! I’m going to ban myself from OZB for a month as punishment.

        • FH3 is still good, it’s just the arcade version of Forza. It’s good price.

        • Forza Horizon 3 is an amazing game play it you wont regret it at all.

        • @Axelstrife: I have a feeling he/she already owns a physical copy of horizon 3 and bought a duplicate from this deal.

        • @Harshad: nope never owned. However I was not interested in playing FH3 :(

They also won’t refund the key. Wonder if I can sell/give to someone else?

        • @Stugots: They have been selling for $30 in the classifieds. Should be able to recover most if not all of what you spent.

        • @Harshad:

Am I able to sell a code I've already (stupidly) redeemed though?

        • @Stugots: Nope. In that case you are stuck with it.

  • Entered my email address in facebook but the code is useless. Says "Coupon code is not valid" when I tried to apply it for Xbox Live subscription.
Edit: Code expires every few minutes. Had to get a new code which worked.

    • you have to sign into the account on cd keys which the email used for the code is assigned to.

  • Waiting for FM7 deal, got Ultimate ED FH3 on release and wasnt entirely worth it besides VIP bonus and Hot Wheels expansion (and even then Hot Wheels expansion pass was seperate)

    • +1

Yeah I enjoyed FH3 but Ultimate Ed wasn't really worth it at full price. I just grabbed FM7 off the russian store for $43, can't wait to put some laps in around proper race tracks.

      • Say whaaaaaat?! $43? any trickery? Surely it wont be a standard purchase plus I thought they stopped all that? Now I will need to sus.. That is def an appealing price

  • +1

Bought. Thanks OP. Got code without any problem. Downloading.

  • Don't play many games, but this is easily the best I have seen.

  • $45.50 for FH3 now with 5% off.
    Still bought.

  • Prices increased
