Moreland Council is having a community consultation session about Fleming Park today between 2PM-4PM. The Pookie May Coffee Truck will be there serving free coffees.
This is actually one of my favourite local parks. It's a footy/cricket ground and in the day becomes a dog park. There is a bowls club with a table tennis table, pool table etc as well as a senior centre where you can hear lots of Italian spoken. New cafes, bakeries and apartments have popped up just outside the park so this fairly small park is getting a much needed sprucing up (old footy stand, playground etc.).
