Australia Post "Scoot The Dog – Your Virtual Assistant! "

Scoot is a cartoon dog online assistant…like the modern-day Microsoft Office 'Clippy' except much more useless.

When I today (10th October) asked Scoot where my parcel was he replied "Great news! Your item with tracking ID EBA00660266001008XXXXX is In transit and should be delivered on or before 9 Oct 2017."

I could only reply 'You stupid dog, it hasn't arrived" before he asked if I needed any more help!

What the hell is Aus' Post doing when they add in some stupid new feature that is useless.

… oh and after he gave me advice that my parcel will arrive yesterday he told me "I've got a nose for finding parcels." :(

BAD DOG! BAD AUS POST!

      Are you assuming its reality?

How can you expect Australia Post to be aware of dates?

That dollar per stamp is really working out well.

When I spoke to the lovely single mum that trudges around my bad neighbourhood delivering letters and found she is paid per letter delivered, i realised $1 per letter is a legit price if they want to pay everyone that touches the letter fair wages. Be super nice to your posties, they do the same route for less and less pay as we send less land mail, in fact I think they may need thier rights looked after a little as employees.

        Your point is?

Totally depends on how much they get paid per letter If its 60c then they are ripping us off, if its .6c then thats an issue

More info needed before I will stop e-mailing to support the local postie….

I am not saying choose paper post over email. I am saying, consider the logistics when you complain the price is too high, it is still people providing the service.

I completely respect posties, they bring me new toys and other crap I buy through OzBargain every day. The point is they were probably getting their fair share before, but since prices went up by a third, I doubt their wages followed. They just wasted it on frivolous and pointless stuff like a useless virtual dog.

It's a conspiracy to try turn back time to the 90's when they where making money.

    • There is an actual theory that states the calendar year is wrong and we supposed to be in the 20th century.

So maybe the dog is using that calendar.

Explains where all of my lost packages are. Scoot has buried them in his backyard.
