  • I love my Flyknit, but boy do they smell bad. Combining the shoe and sock is great for running but not for hygiene.

I eventually caved and started wearing socks with them.

Do they specify that you wear them without socks? I would never think that to be the default option, always thought these to be just more comfort with less uncomfortable rigidity.

    • Can you point to the marketing material that tells you to not wear socks with these?

    • +1

That was the whole point of them when they first released.

Edit: The ASOS link below is still promoting them as sockless in the image.

You wear shoes without socks? Do you also only bathe once a week?

      • It's the very point of them. Look up barefoot running, that's what these are meant to emulate.

Look up basic human hygiene on YouTube.

        • @KLoNe: I run in "barefoot" shoes without socks, but I also wash them once a fortnight or so depending on how often I run because the smell gets…interesting if you leave them too long.

  • Got a white pair to match my blacks. Thanks

      one for each feet?

  • Just did a quick search and found them on ASOS for £71.59 which paypal converts to $126 delivered. They have other sized too. Apparently you should go half a size up.

    3.5% cashback too.

    • Are there any local ASOS stores in aus that allow returns?

      • They don't have physical stores but their return process is very simple - simply repackage your goods in the original, resealable packaging that it comes in and print a return label from ParcelPoint. I've used it before and it only takes me 5 mins - you just drop off your sealed package at a ParcelPoint location which is for me my local pharmacy.

  • Only flyknit racers for me if they ever come back
