Anyone else being charged a small order processing fee (+$0.26 AUD) when they try to check out?

    • Yep… misleading, still worth it $0.72 in total

    • Thanks Updated.

  • Small order processing fee of $0.26
    Order Total

Shady practices from LITB. What is the point of not having shipping then?

    • Price in title includes processing fee.

Thanks OP, this will be great for helping to piece my life back together

  • Average price if not more expensive i bought a set of 6 different style Stainless steel tweezers for 1.90 AUD delivered from Ebay.

These are not thick and hard wearing i have a similar tweezers they are cheap because the metal is thin and bends real easy. I have bent the ends picking up SMD resistors lol.

I am all for bargains but if you are only going to buy one set of tweezers buy a better set these will frustrate you. I still use these thinner tweezers to HOLD components down while soldering.

These are absolutely crap, they bend with even the slightest force and are useless for anything except picking up butterflies.

    • They look like they might be ideal for pulling out ticks though… seriously.

      • Catalyst program: Freeze ticks before pulling out with tweezers.

        Your OzBargain public service announcement:-

One tick type can give you a red meat allergy. If you pull with tweezers, it injects bad stuff into your blood. Freeze first then all good.
(Get Ether based gadget from pharmacy to freeze it).

        • Yeah, nasty little buggers eh. We have wart off freeze for that purpose. Although the other night my 4 year old boy had a tick behind his ear that, I told him not to touch it whilst I go get the wart freeze. Came back a minute later and he was proudly holding the tick between his fingers telling me he had taken it off himself.

5 minutes later he is crying in pain and his nearby gland had swollen up for 24 hours.

        • @Gravy:

Aah, shame. Hope he is fine now.

        • @check: Yeah although the mammalian allergy is always in the back of my mind now whenever we get bitten, have quite a few ticks in our backyard… damn bandicoots.

    • Thanks for the warning. I was going to buy.

      • Still require tweezers after you freeze

Yep and these are the type you need so you can grab when right behind their mouth parts and avoid squeezing the body itself.

    • Maybe people want to pick butterflies!
      You killed the damn deal!
