Before the negs all come, please research the airline before booking. China Eastern hasn't exactly got a clean record.

China Eastern is not that good though

  • Going off the prices that's $510 each to Europe? That's amazing.

  • INC TAX OR BEFORE TAX?
if INC TAX,the price is amazing!

  • Hmmm… their website doesn't support HTTPS - http://oa.ceair.com/au/en/

Kinda sketchy, plus the reviews on Skytrax aren't exactly glowing.

Great deal but too many red flags for my risk appetite.

Confirmed that you need to pay (around $500) on airport taxes on the second ticket. Flights end up being around the same price as current sale with Qatar airways to Europe. I know who I would rather fly with…

  • MU's reputation isn't particularly glowing (safety wise). I know of a (aviation) company which bans their employee from flying MU for business travel due to "safety reasons". Also based on the above comment regarding taxes, must as well fly on the ME3 carriers/top up a little to fly Qantas/VA.
