I actually don't mind having separate deals. They get released at different times, so they can't really go under the same post. If they were all released on the same day, it'd be a different manner.
I like to travel and so love having the offline maps of the cities I go to, so really appreciate these freebies.
i dont mind the seperate ones either to be honest. i've downloaded the melbourne and new york ones and been very happy with the content. i can see how they normally sell for $8 (New York is no longer free btw!), pretty useful. definitely deserve their own posts here.
what's up with Lonely Planet giving out free city apps lately? anyone heard of anything?

Again - LP do not charge for updates. They're just generating interest. This has nothing to do with the 2011 editions.
I don't know… they stated they're updating the UI… but it seems strange that they'd need to reduce the price for that.
Trying to download it, but I get a popup saying that my account will be debited for this purchase. I normally only get this when an app actually costs money.
Also, anyone have any idea what the 5.00% (with a little coloured circle) means below the posting?
i think it's money back co. Probably tagged on their cause the link says apple. I sure didn't select it to be added on.

thanks! i've gotten the last few that have been posted and would hope they keep getting posted separately. when they had the Europe ones for free after that Volcano, I got all of those too! Quite the collection now! :D:D:D

Not yet available - like the Prague one comes up with 'modified' error. Which probably means it'll be released in a couple of hours.
