  • Can you post the SSD if I pay for shipping costs? :)

    • Mushkin, yes as it's brand new sealed box but unfortunately for open box items our policy is to only sell in store so customers can inspect the item before leaving the store and any possible issues can be dealt with ASAP without the need for back and forth shipping.

      • That's a fair enough policy and I respect it, but to be honest if it's basically just an open box and "brand new" as stated then there shouldn't be any problems?

        • I don't necessarily disagree but if you can shoot us an email with the request to sales[at]evatech.com.au I can make sure it gets forwarded to the right place and see if we can get get the green light to make an exception. Please also include your post code so we can let you know the shipping cost if we do get the nod to proceed!

        • Not to play store rep's advocate, but there is a difference. Esp when you add up the variable of shipping and all that could happen in that phase.
That policy does make sense to me, but I'll happily leave the answer to the store rep now.

This is a pretty awesome deal. Pity I'm in Sydney, otherwise I'd be all over this!

      • Yes, I'd be keen with reasonable delivery

    This is a great CPU.

Built my mates PC with one of these and was super impressed with the performance.

    • +2

Indeed, it's the budget gaming CPU champion.

    • How does it go on new AAA games? Gussing it does 1440 60 FPS fine?

      or 1080 only?

      • +1

Depends entirely on the game and the GPU/RAM you pair the CPU.

Steve over at GamersNexus.net has done a pretty thorough series of tests and we would defiantly trust his results over what ever pops up when you type in 'G4560 PUGB FPS' in youtube.

        • I probably wouldn't consider the CPU myself, being more of a mid range upgrade every few years type guy, but for my friend (who plays football manager 99% of the time) it was the perfect buy.

          For under $500
          - G4560
          - Mobo
          - 8Gb RAM
          - 1050 Ti

Ran some basic tests on some of the games he had in his steam library, which was nothing fancy, but was highly impressed @ 1080p!

  • It's worth noting that this CPU (G4560) makes a great home server/NAS CPU as well, especially since it also supports ECC.

  • So any left we can order for delivery, rep?
