  • Do we get Destiny 2 with the Gigabyte deal?

Nvidia would say yes and lists some stockists at the bottom… not sure about claiming worldwide if its just a key or proper boxed version, my 1070 was purchased second hand off forums so not sure of the process for claiming these sort of things anymore.

      • I've got a Gigabyte Aorus 1080 ti coming in the next few days. I'd be interested to know if i can claim Destiny 2

        • Should be able to since it's valid until the end of November. Make sure you hound them for it. Also note that the game comes out on pc in a week's time.

The destiny redemption code comes from the retailer (In my case Amazon) and you then have to register this code with nVidia (via "The GeForce Experience" software). This will then give you another code which you have to then register in Blizzards Battle.net. This will then add Destiny 2 to your games list within the Battle.net launcher and you can download D2 on the 23rd October. I had to use a VPN to get a USA IP address to redeem the initial code an nVidia, after that was successful the VPN wasn't required.

    • In my case I just straight up asked Amazon support, they gave me the code, and I just activated it. No hassle.

    • *24th of October unfortunately mate, i've been waiting for a while so i'd know.

Be aware this is one of the worst performing coolers. Honestly worth an extra $20-40 for a better cooler if you're already investing over 500 on a card.

    • Not gonna say you are wrong, but i have this GPU and even at 100% usage for a considerable time it only goes to high 60s with the stock fan profile, and if you didnt mind a little extra noise you could likely keep it cooler by turning up the fans.

But yeah if you can get a noticeably better one (better cooler, backplate, LEDs if you like em) for $30ish more i would say its probably worth it.
Though i should also mention that the black and white cooler is pretty sexy so if it fits your theme this will perform fine
