7.99 Sterling converts via 28 degrees to $13.42, and split between 3 (or more) pairs of shoes, it's not that much per pair.
the 50 sterling shoes compared to the AU$100 same pair worked out a further $11.20 per pair cheaper paying in sterling and letting 28 degrees convert it.

i bought 11 pairs of shoes for the whole family, $53 dollars express shipping. it's still a lot cheaper. if just buy 1 or 2 pairs, then it's not worth it.

Adidas, like most brands, protect their regional market price, rather than operate in a fair manner with a singular global price upon the global market.
It's why Gerry bitched until the government brought in local market protection legislation in the form of a tariff/tax to make us pay what he wants us to.
