End of the road for dimensions, a year early, so might be a few more bargains to come.

Wow, sad to hear. I think its the expensive RRP for all these packs, as with Skylanders, and Infinity that has lead to their demise. I'm assuming that when the retailer has a catalogue sale and the packs are discounted to more realistic and affordable prices, that they are still making a profit. There wouldn't have been too many families who would have gone out and bought up more than 50% of that particular season of toys. They blame manufacturing costs, however you can buy a cheap toy figure of the same quality (or small fake lego lego kit) for less than $5 from the junk shops and they are still making profit on that, and the NFC chips are so cheap too. So I think it's a lame excuse.

      • They’re all a bit same same.

My daughter gave up on Skylanders because all the sets were kinda the same. By the time Superchargers came out she was over it. Even the one that followed didn’t interest her.

And when I asked her about Dimensions she said “But it’s just like Skylanders…”

Now whilst it isn’t, you know what she means.

So it doesn’t surprise me that both are finishing up.

      • you do have to remember that they have to pay licensing fees, developer fees and the team/level packs require more work from the developer as well

    • Talking to a manager at EB yesterday, I discovered that there's still one final wave yet to be released.

I went into Big W to start my Halloween supply shopping 3 days ago, came out with mostly Lego Dimensions. Went back yesterday to try do my Halloween supply shopping again….Came out with more Lego Dimensions products than spook related items. Gosh darn do I wish Beetlejuice was on special though, then it would have been win-win!

I updated all the prices of the ones I found in store, as I keep a Keep file with the prices so I know when to buy and when not. I'll check it shortly and see if I can give some more prices for you to add to the whole list there :)

My Keep file is formatted very differently so I had a bit of trouble getting it all sorted out for you, but here you go!

    Level Packs:
*Back to the Future - $20
    *Doctor Who - $20
    *Midway Arcade - $20

    Team Packs:
    *Ninjago - $17

    Fun Packs:
    *DC - Superman - $9
    *DC - Aquaman - $9
    *DC - Cyborg - $9
    *Harry Potter - Hermione - $12
    *Lego Movie - Emmet - $9
    *Lego Movie - Benny - $9
*Lord of the Rings - Legolas - $9
*Lord of the Rings - Gollum - $9

I'm heading back in today for my third attempt at Halloween stuff getting, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to finish off getting the remaining ones I'm missing because…I have a problem…and I really need help to Lego of it.

    • Thanks for the additional info.

I bought a few of these myself yesterday, but couldn't quickly find them when posting last night from my phone!

I've updated the post to include all of these, with links.

I'm probably in the same boat as you, and likely to go back today to find a few more I don't have and couldn't remember yesterday.

  • Yeah its been cancelled so expect further clear outs.

I saw these the other day, can't remember when exactly but I saw on the price ticket that it ends in November.

    • Thanks for the comment. I just zoomed in on one of my pictures and it has an 08/11/2017 on it, so perhaps that's the end date? I guess it's likely, as it's a Wednesday.

      • +1

Yeah, usually that date means that is when the special ends but sometimes I have seen sales go past the date on the ticket.

  • Hm damn. I bought the base game half price last christmas but my little one wasn't quite up to gaming so it's been in the cupboard waiting for a price drop on the packs. Sadly the scooby doo set is already sold out everywhere and that's what he was interested in.

    • I just discovered that ozgameshop has the Scooby-Doo Team Pack available for $24.99 (free shipping with code SH1P). (Thought you might want to know)
