I have just started looking for a new lounge and as per usual I started my search at trusty OzBargain. However, I couldn't find any recent lounge deals besides a few outdoor suites from last month. I have checked the main stores such as Super Amart and Fantastic Furniture.
So my question is, where do you thrifty people buy your lounges from? Thanks in advance <3

Suggest not buying Super Amart and Fantastic Furniture- this is one of those false economy times.
Unless you've got little people or pets who'll destroy it anyway in 2 years, spend the extra and buy a decent quality fabric or leather, or as 2jzzzz points out, hit up Gumtree. Seriously, so many people sell near new couches when they move because they don't fit or they decide they want a different look.
I had a fantastic furniture couch. it was great. had it for 5 years and only sold it because it didn't quite fit in to our new house. it survived 3 babies/young children - the material was great. prefect as a spare/emergency bed. somewhat regret selling it.
I was lucky with that couch. it was an awesome find and a decent price. I agree that most fantastic furniture stuff is very meh.
If I can find a good quality one for a more attractive price I'll jump on it. The current budget is $1500. Will check Gumtree though.
Also luckily I don't have either small people or furry children.

I agree, but their stuff is a tad pricey. However, they last forever and are extremely comfortable. They easily double as single beds when you have people over.
If you do buy something from gumtree, bring a torch and check for insects. If you are happy bring it home and dont take it inside.
Seal it in a big bag and dump a can of bedbug killer in there.
Let it sit for a week before taking it out.

Bed bugs aren't a joke, they will ruin your life.
On that note, just to save some dollars, you are risking bugs, insects, body fluids and what not. Get a new one even if its not top of the line but thats just my advice.
