  • Sounds cheap at 10% less than any equivalent product I can find for sale locally in Australia. Any reviews or gotchas on this specific product?

  • +1

Looks like good price provided one is willing to run the risk of a more complicated Warranty claim.

Are prices stabilising because Mining is hitting a downturn?

    • What downturn. Prices are up 100% in 90 days.

      • ^This….funny how clueless some people are, I paid $260, from Newegg, 6 months ago for my RX480

        • RX-480 for USD200/- delivered even 6 months ago was a great deal, Congrats.

      • A currency being high in value doesn't mean it's profitable. The recent mining boom actually had nothing to do with Bitcoin and Ethereum's value has been comparatively static despite mining difficulty going way up.

    • Pretty much. Take a gander at pcpartpicker's RX 580 price trend graph. Still not back to launch price, but it's getting better.
WRT warranty, Newegg's running in Aus now, so shouldn't be too hard to claim I'd imagine.

The cheaper shipping's tracking stops when it arrives in the country because it switches over to Auspost. Also it took a bit over 2 weeks (in my experience anyway)

I'd recommend the much quicker express as it's DHL all the way to your door :)
