Any deal on Snapdragon version Redmi Note 4 with 4G RAM and 64GB storage?

    • +1

Could you pls send me a link for better confirming?

    • May I ask why you're interested in the 4 and not the 4X? I'm looking at getting the X because the little research I did shows that its a bit newer and better. Am I wrong?

      • @amrdeus: I don't see much of a difference in 4 and 4X, just some cosmetic differences otherwise they're the same. I wanted to get the black one which Gearbest did not seem to have in 4X. As long as you get the global & Snapdragon 625 version of 4 or 4X whichever is cheaper, you'll be fine.

  • can i make more than 1 order? would like to buy a few EP51s for christmas presents

    • Yes,you can use that code AUGB10171 for 3 times

Finally got a Xiaomi USB light. I've never needed one but everyone seems to rave about them and they always sell out, so they must be useful… right?!

    • +3

Copy+paste but change "light" to "fan".

    • they are useful - at least in my case where my child needs a constant light at night with the ability to adjust the brightness.

      • We use them for travel night lights. The fan though I don't see the need

      • How long have you left it on straight? The entire night? Does it get hot?

        • No issues with heat. FYI you can get the blue version here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/334930 just in case you want to collect them all

Edit: Turns out is the same code and has been out a while. Seems to be the going rate these days

Hey Rep.. just some feedback to Gearbest on postage. I know you guys do free postage and all - but can you PLEASE stop using Netherlands Post as your carrier when sending to Australia? We aren't Austria.. It's Australia.. (I know.. even the US President gets that wrong).. It's the reason why it takes 8 weeks to get anything because there's the handling time from your suppliers and stockists to send out, days to sort out in China's depots, travel half way around the world to Netherlands before figuring out it is in Australia and then travel half way around the world again to be distributed here along with the snail pace Auspost services.

Surely Singapore Post or even China Post isn't that much more expensive than Netherlands Post. At least it wont be another 4 business days of flight transfer to get to the right area of the world to deliver.

    Thanks

    • +1

      Made my day. Awesome comment.

    • +2

I was gonna add one more thing to my post.. its Netherlands SURFACE mail.

It means it's on a cargo boat running at 30knots that needs to pass the Suez Canal… TWICE.. to get to a sorting office in Netherlands before coming back to Aus..

      OMG..

    • +1

i dont mind Netherlands post, hoping they put some free weeds inside as bonus

    • +5

      Hi bchliu,

Thank you for your kind feedback, for some items that could only be shipped via Netherlands Post, and for most items, there will be other options, you can use it before you pay,pls understand this.

For the item that ship via Netherlands Post,if you find better shipping method from other store, pls kindly feedback this to me,I will try my best to confirm a better shipping method for you australia customers.

      Thanks,
      Sunny

Netherlands post doesn't mean it goes via the Netherlands. Netherlands post was privatised many years ago and is just a division of the global transport giant TNT. I originally had the same thought as you @bchliu, but did some research and figured out that the reason that TNT use the Netherlands Post name is to access Universal Postal Union agreement provisions so that they don't have to pay the Postal service in the destination country (Australia Post in our case) to deliver the item to the final recipient. They also appear to offer an economy surface mail option. One of the reasons Australia Post is so expensive is that they shut down most surface mail options years ago, forcing people to use their air service. However, when I was a kid it used to take 12 weeks to send Christmas presents via surface from Au to Europe

      • +1

Yeah I thought about that too before I wrote this originally but I had tracking enabled on a few items in the past that tracked the entire journey of the package through NL Post (though was from a competitor dropshipping company). It actually did appear in Dutch exchange twice before it was resent back out to Australia (took about 9 weeks all up). Would be interesting to see if that is the case or not these days. Need to remember which orders it was that had the tracking that showed it was in Holland before it made its way back.

        • That's interesting. I used to use the Netherlands registered option a fair bit and never noticed a Netherlands scan, but that may just be a case of not paying enough attention. These days I either go with free, or upgrade to priority line.
I haven't figured out how the priority line pricing works. Sometimes adding a 99c or cheaper item can reduce the shipping upgrade fee dramatically, as can combining with a flash sale item where the coupon isn't much better.

        • @newdad: Yeah.. I did tell the Rep that I normally go Priority too, only when the item is worth more than $15 considering most times the cheapest priority option is $5 or so. Anything less is just not worth it unless I'm desperate for it. Kind of like why I didnt buy the SD Cards in the last couple of deals - by the time you add $7 or so on priority post, it becomes the same price as here with local post from Futu or ShoppingExpress during the ebay sales. Hence it's pretty important for the postage to be competitive in IMO..

Shame it is only for AU and NZ only, I would like to order the pen and the refills.

        • which country are you from? cant open to Russia,Germany,Brazil,spain……..

      • Pen code expired. Can u share new code?

        • More stock added, you can try them now!

    • You can try code FokAqaralight to buy Xiaomi Aqara Smart Light Switch Wireless Version - MILK WHITE at 11.59USD,as to anther one, sorry to let you know that we dont have sufficient stock for it to run at lower price.

    • What does that thing actually do?

      • one is a light switch (replaces your existing light switch) - this allows u to use your phone (and other automation stuff) to control the switch - eg lie in bed and use phone to turn the light off

the second one is a wireless light switch, that you can setup so that it replicates what the other light switch does… so when ur even lazier to turn on the phone app to turn light off, u just hit the wireless switch wherever you've placed it conveniently to do the same (saves u hassle of doing 2/3way light switches around the house)

more of convenience cos i'm lazy =P

        • Does it require special light bulbs to work?

        • @lostn:

this controls the switch, not the bulb
you can get the ones that control the individual bulbs (which let you have access to brightness/colour etc). this doesn't allow that

        • @reno: How does this switch talk to the real switch?
