Australia does not have any GSM networks.

And if it really doesn't have Bluetooth 4>, then battery drain will be not worth it, I feel.

    review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=me44aZPket4

I think at the end he mentions it doesn't pass over notifications from apps. It seems like a waste of money even at $20.

    • It has bluetooth . there are many types of this smart watch ..alot

  • Yeah Aus doesn't have GSM 2G network coverage anymore. Cheapest equivalent in 3G on the website I can find is $70.46

    • Where ?

me thinks Kemy11 may work for Zapals and LITB

    Junk.

I'm too paranoid to load some generic app, that needs access to everything on my phone, in order to sync with these cheap smartwatches.

    Not negging or anything.

I'm just here to say that any of these watches under 30 are by and large the same damn thing. You'd do better if you just want a dirt cheap watch to grab a DZ09. They can be found for 10 bucks with little to no trouble, I paid 8 for mine months ago, and they are quite serviceable.

Speaker quality is decent, screen quality is surprisingly good, VERY good response to touch, built in MP3 player is cool, camera works but it's mostly just a novelty, GREAT battery life, and so on.

If you want one of these running full Android and can work as an actual (3G) phone, go after the QW09. I got mine from GearBest for 40 something a while back and it's great. It runs it's own version of Kit Kat and can run most apps I throw at it, I even loaded Vice City just for the (profanity) of it, worked and ran at a reasonable speed too, controls were impossible as you'd expect, but the point remains the same. That watch should pull you through a good 12 hours off a single half hour charge, and given the generic nature of these watches, the batteries are fine to swap over if you wanna carry a fully charged back up with you. I did that with my DZ to QW at my last job when I needed the thing all day.

    Anyway.

Go for a DZ09 if you want a cheap, decent smart watch for <15.
Go for a QW09 if you want a cheap, decent Android smart watch phone for <50.

    • thx for the tip.

Im looking at some cheap android watches, qw09 good watch ?

      • Has the odd little bug, which can probably be attributed to the tiny little specs.

I hear hit and miss things, if you get a dud, I am sorry, but for me, mine is great. I guess look at the rep of the seller? Mine is from GearBest, but even they have a few people who don't trust them, I've bought a bunch of things from them without issue personally.

Anyway. Mine is great. The camera is a LOT better than the super cheap watches, still nothing you'd wanna use for photos you wanna keep, but as a wearable camera and for the price it's more than usable. Video oddly looks better than photos, I have a couple videos on there and you can clearly make out the faces of people no problem, whereas a couple of the photos are pretty damn blurry. Screen quality is fantastic, colorful games like Rayman and Flappy Bird (it's a watch, I mostly only have games I can play with one finger) look gorgeous on the tiny screen, great time killer on the train or bus. Volume is decent, but as with most phones, you're probably not gonna hear it in a stadium, I've made a couple calls on a crowded bus with it with no fail mind you. Network wise it works perfect for me, but for me, I don't use data AT ALL, I can only tell you about calls and texts, and they both work without a hitch for me, great call quality and typing with the screen is more responsive than something that size has any real right to be. Internet wise I only used WiFi, and as nice as the keyboard is, it's still a tiny little screen, I haven't done much browsing on it, but I've sent a fair few messages through Facebook and downloaded a bunch of apps with no hitch, the download speeds are pretty decent too.

If you want more information about something in particular, hit me up. But for all intents and purposes, what you see is what you get, a small form factor, Android 4.4 running phone with half a gig of RAM (if you hear conflicting reports it's .3 gb, that's straight up wrong), that doubles as a watch.

Would recommend another battery if you can find one cheap though, battery is by no means bad, but it's far from great. I just grab my DZ09's battery if need be, I basically dumped that watch on my 20 month old girl after I upgraded, she loves the thing.
