Less work for you + your pool cleaner performs better + your pool doesn't clog

Zodiac's Cyclonic Leaf Catcher works together with your pool cleaner and helps it do a better and faster job.

  • 'cmon - Poolrite Triphibian Pool Cleaner (Head Only) on sale, please - you know you want to :-)

    • We don't have it in stock.

  • The brochure says it comes with the adapters (I have a Hayward cleaner, so I think i will need them to attach to my hose), but your site says to add $10 for the adapters. Can you confirm if I will need to add the adapters?

    • if the cleaner doesn't have 1.5" baracuda hoses, you would need the optional adapters.

      • +1

any change to add more in stock?

      • Can you add more stock please? I regret waiting now

  • Just wondering how do I know if I need an adapter or not, I have a Kreepy Krauly attached atm. Thanks in advance.

I have had one of these for the last 2 seasons. Absolute no brainer for anyone with a pool. Saves so much time cleaning and added protection for your pump. Great job again on the price P&SW. FYI I use it on a Onga Hammerhead and it requires the adapters.

  • +1

This is great product, I have been using these for around 15 years or so. (on second unit which was bought about 3 years ago) at this price I also agree Its a no brainer as my last one cost around $70 on sale.

If you have to pay extra for an adapter its still worth it.

    Another great deal - thanks Rep/OP :)

    • yes what you said.

  • +2

At that price I might get one - just in case I get a pool one day.

  • Any deals on the robotic cleaners?

  • +1

Bought one of these during the ast sale and can vouch for it being a great product!!

  • +1

Can anyone explain how this reduces work? It says I won't have to check the skimmer basket anymore, but I will have to check this new basket and empty the leaves out of it. Isn't it just adding a new basket for the leaves to get caught in?
Is the only difference that it's cyclonic?

(not trying to neg - genuinely interested because our pool is surrounded by gum trees and takes in a lot of leaves).

    • +2

Yes, you will still need to check skimmer.. just not as often.

    • +2

I have one of these and my pool is surrounded by trees.

It's pretty darn quick to empty it, and you don't need to lift skimmer box lid (for me, this is a travertine tile and very heavy).

I can literally just unplug a house, detach the unit. Shake it out into the bin, re-attach and off we go. I find the suction on my pump is high and struggle to get the lid off, internal housing etc in the skimmer and this takes me less than half the time.

It works very well and I only have to check the skimmer once a month or so because 99% of leaves end up in this thing.

      • Thanks for that. It sounds pretty useful. I've grabbed one based on your comments and all the other overwhelmingly positive reviews on here.

        • +2

It also looks cool seeing those pesky leaves being whirled and twirled around - how dare they intrude on my pool without suffering!!

  • Ordered!

  • +2

Got one of these in a previous deal. If you have a pool that welcomes leaves get one. great product for the money.

Originally thought these were a gimmick but I've bought one based on the feedback everyone has given. Quick question… where is the best place for it? After the first skimmer box segment so it's easy to get to and empty?

    • +1

Yep - as it needs to sit on the surface, your cleaner won't work if it's near your cleaner unit

  • Will this catch sand and other debris ????

    • +1

It will pick up any debris in the pool. Sand might be a bit fine and end up in your skimmer instead but there's not reason why it can't do it. I don't have any sand around my pool, so can't speak from experience. I do know it picks up my daughters hair, the odd caterpillar, once had a baby cane toad in it…

  • Awesome thanks Pool and Spa Warehouse!!

Any chance I can pick mine up from your Hornsby store?

  • These things are great!

  • Bought one. Thanks!

  • This thing is the best, I had dogs that luv to swim in the pool. It catches all the hair prior to entry into my filtration system.
    thanks heaps order done.

  • I have this catcher form last season (still in its box haha).
I want to buy a Baracuda pool cleaner, either the T3 or T5 if they go on special, do any of them climb and clean stairs?
    (It's a Quartzon pool)

Does the T3 clean walls? your page says yes, but Zodiac says no?

  • Ugh was just about to buy but saying out of stock

    • limited to first 100

      • Literally got right to the end of the checkout process but went back to edit my address and as soon as I did that it sold out haha

  • Grabbed one for myself. Told my sister, and out of stock when she tried.

  • What size would a non baracuda hose be? I measured my hose and it's 40mm internal diameter. Which is slightly different to 1.5 inch. Would i need the adaptor if i purchased this product in the future?

  • Missed out as well, such a good deal. Went on ebay and saw one for $69, with 20% off using code (PONCHO) down to $55.20 and free shipping. Not as great, but still good :)

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Zodiac-Cyclonic-Leaf-Catcher-Can…

  • I can't honestly see why i would want one of these? its just the skimmer box a few meters away from what i can see.

    • Essentially, because your skimmer box can filled up with the leaves skimmed off the top, while the cleaner sucks leaves into this, therefore increasing your capacity. You have to empty both, but half as often. Hayward make a much better one though and I would avoid this one.

    • Also its capturing the crap from the bottom, prior to it entering your filtration system. Saves me so much time as its very easy to open and empty without depressurising your system.

  • Back in stock, but coupon is expired :(

  • Great service, I just received mine this morning, in Melb! Hopefully it fits.
