Thanks, bought a pair yesterday, and another pair now!

  • I'd highly suggest KZ ZS5's or rock zircons over this.

    • I have both, arguably they sound the same except Xiaomi is more v-sounding. And they're more comfortable since KZ zs5 doesn't have soft around the ear cables. Plus, the newer KZ zS5 has been reported sound albeit to sharp.

I found the zs5's out imaged the xiaomi. Noticeably better details however i do enjoy the comfortability of the xiaomi's more. Some people might not like the zs5's over the ear style.

hhmm, I've heard the ZS5 and wasn't a fan, thought the Xiaomi was better for my ears. Never heard the Zircons though.

      • They are more flat in response to me, had to use an equaliser to suit it to my taste.

    • @clinton don't know why you got negged, but agreed. If your looking for a more similar V-Shaped or even U-shaped sound for cheaper price, get the URBANFUNS, ES3, KZ ED9 or ZS3. The KZ ZS5 v1 is the best of that bunch however some don't like the harsh sibilant highs which are enhanced in the v2 but for some the high sibiliance adds to clarity which makes the phones sound clearer. The rock zircons are usually what people "prefer" though when they listen to all these as it has the most bass which people usually equate to "sound quality". The xiaomi are just ok to average imo, very poor value for money compared to what is offered.

Picture is Pro HD. But listed as Pro.

    Which is it?

Very good price if it's Pro HD.

They all look the same for me XD

      • Pro
        Pro HD

Remote looks different, and the round rim that the ear gels are attached to tapers off less sharply in the HD.

Sound signature is different. HD is clearer and more detailed, but the treble can be harsh. But when I paired it with a portable DAC, the harsh treble went away. I guess it varies by sound source.

But plugged directly to the sound card, the Pro does not have the sibilant treble I experienced with the HD.

I think the one you link to is Pro HD. It's a good price if that's the case.

        • They have HD written on it.

My Mi IV have nothing written on it and the box said "Mi In-Ear Headphone Pro"

        • @superforever: They're known by multiple names. Sometimes Hybrid IV, sometimes the Piston name is used. Depends on the site.

  • Are these noise cancelling?

    • No.

  • are these better than the hybrid IV
