I did go through with merging my Twitch and Amazon accounts, though according to Gankable, you can get this without doing that.

Mine showed up as $9.01 (Assuming US), considering the normal price is US$50 or thereabouts, I thought this one is worth sharing.

Instructions (thanks to Gankable):

I just made a new account, no Twitch Prime (no Prime trial either). All you have to do is link your Twitch to an Amazon account, and the Amazon account needs to be set to UK or one of the EU countries (I confirmed UK, Germany, and Spain so far) that has this offer, under 'Account' > 'Manage Your Content and Devices' > 'Settings'.
The price will pop up as $9.00 ~ $12.00, depending on which country the account is set to. I didn't go beyond this step to purchase it myself, but I can confirm you can change you region around in that Amazon setting above and get the appropriate regional pricing. Brand new accounts (Amazon and Twitch) worked fine as long as you connect/link the two.
So here are the steps I followed (follow at your own risk):
(1) Log into your Twitch account (I made both a new Amazon.co.uk account and a new Twitch.tv account at this step).
(2) Go to Amazon and log into the Amazon account you want to link (or the one you already linked to the currently logged in Twitch account).
(3) Go to 'Your Account' > 'Manage Your Content and Devices' > 'Settings'. Change the country to UK or EU country. You may need to add in a UK or EU address if it asks for it.
(4) Go back to Twitch page and add the game to cart, then go to checkout.
(5) It'll ask you to log in with your Amazon credentials. This is when you are given the option to link the two accounts.
(6) Cancel the checkout.
(7) Update the game page to see the new pricing.
Twitch Prime and/or Amazon Prime are not necessary for the deal.

      Finally decided to check this game out on youtube.

      Basically a Halo style design mixed with Skyrim open world gameplay and theme meets some stuff from Anthem. Or just a reduced minimalist Anthem albeit with medieval aspects instead of pure sci fi.

      Graphics and open world looks amazing and creatures too but combat looks a bit disappointing very simplistic not much level or depth at all to it.

      Basically GTA type combat lol which some may like.

      But if the world is as huge as it looks to be I don't mind.. I like the minimalist smooth approach and exploration aspects of it all but I know this won't jive well with others and the lack of depth in content and "ruined" combat will mean a hard pass or bargain bin only buy for most.

      Short 3 minute gameplay trailer with some combat. The trailer honestly makes it look like it is still in early access or being developed lol and not ready for release but I am going to watch some more videos now.

        Its a very good game, done by Piranha Bytes, guys that did Gothic and RIsen series. Its very similar.

          Will have to check it out more.. the short gameplay trailer in think doesn't do it justice it looks like a glorified android mobile game.

    This didn't work for me. I followed all the steps, linked the account, went to checkout, cancelled and refreshed page - Elex is still $59.99 :(

      For me,

      I went through with linking my Amazon.com account to Twitch for Prime.
      I then changed my region of my Amazon to the UK (I used to live there, so had an address pre-filled to select from).
      Went back to Twitch Dashboard and revisited the Elex page and it showed as $9.01 which I promptly purchased through Amazon payment.

      Make sure you change your Amazon Country.

      It's a very basic launcher… and be warned, don't interrupt the download otherwise it deletes all the content downloaded so far… I wasted 2 hours and 10-20GB of data.
