Listening to music at home is one of life’s great pleasures, but many people think that good sound starts and stops with mass-advertised brands like Bose and Sonos. However, in the same way that the car industry has BMW, Alfa, Audi etc and watches have TAG, Omega and more, the Hi-Fi industry has a wide selection of brands that go over and above in performance, without costing the earth.

Bring your eyes and ears to the annual International Hi-Fi & Audio Visual Fair at the Pullman Mercure Hotel in Albert Park, Melbourne, where you can listen and see everything that is new, get a heads-up on current audio-visual technology and listen to an amazing amount of music. Products on show range from $1.00 record sleeves to $75,000 headphones!

Opening on Friday 3rd November, with over 130 brands and exhibitors from Australia and around the world, the show enters its 2nd year in great shape after the successful launch in 2016.

Exclusive 50% Discounted Ticket offer for Ozbargain.com.au readers ends Midnight Sunday 29th October. There will be no more discounts after this offer.

It says the code in invalid.

    Yeah, not valid?

  • Oops! Working now.

I still don't get why patron needs to pay to enter into one of these shows, the exhibitors is trying to sell you something. Overseas, the exhibitors pays for the expense on hosting these shows.

We appreciate your opinion, but there are enormous costs putting one of these shows together. In Australia, it is typical to pay entry to a Boat Show, Home Show, Fishing & Outdoors Show, and most other Expos.

We do consider $11 with this promotion for a general admission ticket to be exceptional value. Where else can you hear $75,000 headphones, audio-visual systems that cost over $100,000, find collectible and bargain records, hear just about every major brand in HiFi, all in one place at one time?

  • Looks good!

Damn, I wish Noble and Campfire Audio stuff was there, would be keen to try out their lines
