    Site says 44 WTF??

    • +2

      $35 with the coupon apply

      • Woohoo , thanks :)

  • Whats the shipping rate to melbourne? MSY sells these for $44 so shipping better be well below $9…

    • $8.25

Bit annoying that I had to make an account to figure that out.

Worth it if you're not near anywhere selling it for $44. For an extra 75 cents (+ petrol) I'd probably drive to a store to buy one.

  • why not buy a 2TB for $105 elsewhere, like MSY?

500GB for $35 is great but why not spend the extra $70 to get the extra 1.5 TB space?

    • Better value doesn't mean you need it… I'm sure you could bulk buy and get even better value.

Because 98% of people who own a computer don't require anything bigger than 500GB.

        lol

        • you pirate

        • +1

          I write a lot of emails….

As everyone request, we added a 2TB for $99 with coupon apply (2TBSEAGATE99).

    • not spend the extra $70 to get the extra 1.5 TB space?

If you have a raid using 500GB drives than adding in a 2TB drive will not give you anything extra.

Also why spend the extra $70 if you dont need the space

      • +1

I think you'd have to agree that consumer RAID users do make up a fairly small percentage of prospective HDD purchasers!

Sadly, IM (long) E, one will always need more CPU, more RAM and more HDD, it's just evolution! ;)

      • —-Also why spend the extra $70 if you dont need the space

yeah, i remember buying a 40 meg HDD in 1991 and saying the same thing.

Can this deal be used with in store pick up?

    • +1

i just tried, it doesn't seem to have a pickup option ?

  • The label on the hard drive looks dodgy. (Square regular sticker… hmm….)

    • +2

      Looks normal to me

  • Nice pricing on the hdd. I sent you guys an email asking if you would price match the bluray combo deal that was on here never got a reply.

  • no direct link to 2tb drive offer

needed to sign up for postage

could have walked to msy and bought 2 in the same amount of time

  • would this work on an Imac?
