all those offers are targeted, i don't know any point to post them. i actually got 4200 points for spending $70 in coles last week, then late of the week got another one $40 for 2000 points.

    • +4

the point is to remind some people to check their email or spam folder for possible targeted offer, we may never know, and also it's easier for some to plan their grocer shoppings. It would appreciated if you can post your targeted offers to the community next time. Thanks in advance.

The whole targeted offer thing from flybuys/WW rewards is a rort. Its basically your average spend +~%10-%15. So whatever your 'bonus' it will be exceeded by the extra money you are spending that you probably don't need to. At least thats what I find when buying for a family of 4. If you have a much lower average spend there might be better percentages at work.

        • guess you don't shop much?

        • @0031nek: My point is they don't reward you for normal spending patterns, they reward you for increasing and changing your spend, at least where bonuses are concerned. The base points reward at around .05% overall discount so you can almost ignore the value of those.

So in answer to your question I shop plenty, I just happen to stick to my budget and shopping list, and therefore don't see the bonus rewards often.

        • Actually it's 0.5%

        • @sharkfan12:

well thats embarrassing :P, you are quite correct.

        • +1

That’s why you get multiple cards. I got an offer for 6000 points for spending $30 because I have a card which I only use to buy milk and pay for fuel

        • +1

@Slo20: that's what I do too, then when the offer is like spend $200 I don't activate the offer and use the card where the min spend was $30 :)

  • Our offer is $60/wk for 2 weeks for 3,500 points

  • +2

I got $50 x 4 weeks for the Google Home offer (normally a low spender) but have been spending over $100 throughout this promo, and they gave me 2 x $70+ for this offer..

Looks like I will have to get a new card in future if they keep raising it up..

  • +2

    I got:
Just spend $30* in one shop each week and walk away with a quick 2500 bonus point boost.

This is in conjunction with my $50 per week for four weeks for the Google Mini.

  • I received spending $180 for two weeks to receive a Google Home Mini

  • i got 50 for 4 weeks to get he google home mini, and now $70 for 2 weeks for 4000pts..lameo

  • Mine is $90 for 2 weeks for 4000 pts. This is discrimination!

    • +1

Try $180 a week for two weeks to get 3600. This is what I got , not gonna happen

    • $260 a week for 4000pts :(

  • Got shitty $50 for 2 weeks for 1600 points.

  • You need to check these "offers" very carefully when you receive them. For me, personally, they are not that great. My "targetted offer" was for me to spend $170.00 per week x 4 weeks for a few lousy points. Nah. Nothing doing. I find it remarkable that Woolworths Rewards make these offers from time to time and the variances can be from $40 to $250 per week for four weeks.

I think their Rewards scheme is such a mish-mash and inconsistent anyway and that just triggers my skepticism.

    • I like Flybuys rewards better than Woolies’

    • I find it very very random

      Have got 5 accounts.
3 unused. Offers range from none to 120 per week

The one that's used the most is for sub $10 purchases for shopping and $500 for gift cards multiple times a wweek

      And yet I got a $40 offer

  • Mine is spend 30 for two weeks, get 2500 points

  • Does this work with opal cards? If I recharge my opal card for $40 every week for 2 weeks.

    • +2

No Tech 1s unfortunately, when you top up your opal card you do not get points, as they do not consider it a purchase. I dont bother presenting my rewards card when I top up my opal card anymore, I get no points, and when I did they were sending me offers to spend more than double my top up amount.
I get better and more appropriate offers from fly buys

      • Oh well. I gave it a shot.
        Thanks for letting me know.

  • $70/week 1000 pts/week for 2 weeks. And my weekly spend is $30 on average. Had they made it $50, I may have stocked up on dry essentials, but $70??? Not gonna happen… 👎

  • +2

Everyone in your household needs to have their own card including one for each of the children.

Then when shopping split your purchases over the available cards. $30 or more will get a fuel voucher so I usually try and make sure I spend at least $30 on a card.

You may need to shop weekly to get just over $30 per person.

The offers I got this week were —- Spend $30 get 2,500 points, Spend $40 get 3,000 points, Spend $60 get 3,500 points, Spend $30 on fuel get 1,000 points and Spend $40 get 600 points. We have 5 cards between us.

  • +1

hmm. I got $100 for 2 weeks and get either google home mini (worth $79) or 5000 points (worth $25) I think woolies is so shit to penalise people who spend more. At least it's $100 a week on unlimited shops I hate "spend just $200 in one transaction for xxx" I don't go and buy 5 trolley loads once a week worth hundreds of dollars.

  • I got $30 for 2 weeks and 2500pts

  • I am being targeted. Any spend for total $80 in 2 weeks to get 4500 pts. SWEET!

  • +1

Mine was $100 for 2 weeks for a google mini or 5000 points. My husband has $40 for 2 weeks for 3000 points.

Probably a stupid question - but we had already activated an offer a few weeks ago for spend $50 for 4 weeks to get a google mini. If I activate his new offer can it be used in conjunction with the original offer - so we get the google mini and 3000 points? It won't cancel out the first will it?

    • I looked through the T's & C's and couldn't see anything about not being able to have multiple offers active, so I activated this one as well as the Google Home Mini…

    • I got spend $50 for 4 weeks for Google Mini, which I activated and have completed the first 2 out of 4 weeks.

Yesterday I then get a 'Spend $30 for 2 weeks and get 2500 points' offer, I'm confused why Woolworths would send this to me since I'm already spending $50 for the next 2 weeks for the Google Mini, it's basically 2500 points for nothing? Also hoping by activating it doesn't mess anything up. Mine was both on my account also.

There was also this at the bottom of the email to add another 5 x points to by doing click & collect:

      5x points+
Choose Pick up and spend $50 or more at woolworths.com.au by Sun,12th Nov and enter promo code PICKUP5 at the checkout to get 5x points.

I messaged them on facebook to ask about combining offers and this was the reply:

"The only way you can use more than one offers together without having one cancelled is by making sure that the terms and conditions of each offer states you can use that offer in conjunction with other offers. If you are not able to use an offer with others, the terms and conditions will state that you're not able to use it in conjunction to other offers. The terms and conditions are located at the bottom of the email. Thanks!"

    • From the looks of the comments above, it doesn't state that we can combine, but it doesn't state that we can't either. Soooooo, where does that leave us now?

      • Watch the bottom of the WW receipts to see which offers it acknowledges.

    • +5

I went today and both offers showed up on my receipt - seems they do stack!

      • Great - thanks!

  • Anyone received their mini yet?
