    noticeable difference in picture quality and this one uses microusb to charge. Honestly if you don't have one just get the 2nd one. Source: I've used both
    
    edit: there's also a version 3 but I haven't used or looked into it

      Seems that version uses the larger Instax Film format
      Ideal for some, though it's a less common film, more expensive due to slight size increase, but all tech is the same
      I'd say, if you like the small cute instax film, go with SP-2
      If you want the same as from film 'Momento' (Don't believe his lies), go with SP-3
