All feedback is over a year old. Only 18 feedbacks as a seller over the life of the account.

This will be a hacked account

    You have been warned!

    • have to agree here

price seems FAR too good to be true (completed listing for that device give around $250, for half the storage)
seller's feedback is patchy at best (nothing for one year, and nothing electrical at all)

edit: not saying that it's not a legit seller (as it could well be) but the flags are being waved in a nice bright red colour
edit2: and at 6:09 AEDST, it's sold out - someone's just made an easy 5k

You sure? Hmmmm…6 people bought it I checked.

    • +1

How do you know 4 bought by 1 person. Are you the one selling it.

      • You can check by clicking on how many was sold.

        Link

      • Here

But doesnt matter… You can buy junk, doesn't mean you'll receive it.

      • Hell No. Just searched Apple TV 4K, price low to highest. Saw this listing, posted here.

      • you can click on the numbers sold on the listing and see the recent buyers!

    • +2

No, 6 people have ordered and paid money, not ‘bought’. This is almost certainly a hacked, abandoned account and I predict those folks who have shelled out money will be running to PayPal with a ‘goods not supplied’ complaint in 5, 4, 3, 2…

  • bought one. we'll see. paid by PayPal. used cash back and P5OZZIE code.

    • Let us know, we might all be able to learn from this.

      • Got same email as widzz below - unauthorized account. Refund requested via PayPal. Funds can take up to 10days to return to CC.

  • personally, it sounds too good to be true. I would avoid it.

However, if you pay by paypal, your transaction is protected so if the seller is a fraud, U should get your money back sooner or later!

    good luck

    • +4

Your lost time in chasing it wont get refunded!

      • hahaha… well that's the risk taken for the reward of a $50 buy on a product worth $350!

  • How can it be this cheap? Even second hand ones fetch more than this. Seller was selling Tupperware before today. How did s/he come to have these many cheap Apple TVs?

  • +1

If you buy this using PayPal and if they are dodgy and didn't send the product, can you lodge a claim and will I get the money back through PayPal?

    • Spacebac made me nervous. Was gonna grab 2 for the bedroom and living room. Yes, I am thinking this too!!!! Someone say Yes so I can grab it, damn.

    • Yes, you are protected under Paypal buyer's terms and conditions

    • Probably. The seller can cash out their account and disappear, then PayPal can make it quite hard, sometimes it can be easier to lodge a chargeback at your bank if you paid PayPal by credit card.

  • Ok, it's blowing up, 73 sold.

    • Selling faster than the mega deal on right now lol

  • Impossible

  • +3

I'm going to skip this. I might get my money back, but this user will get my other details in the process like my address.

  • One of these to good to be true?

  • 21 sold

  • +1

    Someone bought 50….

    • Just saw that.

    • $2.5K

    • +2

Probably a friend of the seller who is hoping to get his money back and split it.

  • 73 SOLD!!! WTF. Can we get our money back if Spacebac is correct and it's not genuine?

  • +4

    Lol someone bought 50…

    • Probably yoyomablue :)

    • …Broden?

  • 74 sold

  • +4

    scammer
good way to get your name phone number ebay user id and address
    anyone say identity fraud!

  • I’m betting my $50 from Melbourne cup yesterday 🐎

  • YOLO?

  • 90 sold

  • 100 sold in 10minutes lol

  • Was just about to jump on the hype train and buy it but it got sold out…

  • SOLD OUT! Lets see if any one gets it…

  • And it blew up after I listed it on Ozbargain. So 90% sales is from users here but what the hell, someone bought 50.

    • +2

      'bought'

      ah huh…

  • Bought 1

  • Hmmm, I snoozed. Hopefully everyone received it. Update here please.

  • If the seller just withdraw all the money and closes/cancels the bank account/credit card associated with his PayPal account, will PayPal still return the money?

    • Yes

    • If the seller just withdraw all the money

Paypal holds (most)seller's incoming funds for 21 days?

      Especially low volume sellers

      • No, this is a hacked account. You get the money straight away after something like 10 genuine sales only. I know because I am a small time ebay seller and I get my money instantly now.

    • In the end, PP or any bank is liable and has to guarantee you receive the goods or services you paid for. PP is acting as broker which means they are representing the seller, and its against the to take money and run, this is why PP and Banks "guarantee" these things, not because they are nice but because the Australian Law says they must.

Remember everyone must respect under the law, and in this case PP and Ebay are part of this exchange.

  • Damn, anything Apple related and Ozbargain users go Ape Crazy. Really hoping all is good with this.

    • +1

      go ape crazy

Did you just infer that apple users are apes?

      /runs

      • Yes….yes I did.

        • I think that's a racist remark.

    • Anything 82% off a realistic RRP goes crazy really….

  • +1

good luck with the waiting game!

  • Same here. I paid via PayPal. Any advice on whether I should process claim through PayPal vs eBay?

    • I put it through Paypal since Ebay said I should cancel the payment transaction immediately.

Why are humans so deceiving. I hope this person is tracked down and someone gives her/him a wedgie so deep that sitting down would be a problem for weeks.

      Buy buy buy buy buy!

      • No one is buying. Only 2 sold in 24hrs. It has to be listed on Ozbargain to sell. Only Ozbargain users will buy.

    • Can someone post this for the front page. The eBay post only sold out when I listed it on Ozbargain last time.

    • Posts from Palm Island, QLD. Yeah seems legit.

    • This item now removed too.

  • +1

    ahh… foolish humans.

      • +1

I can't even read this "bro".

  • -1

So is this a bit like click frenzy, where the deal is actually legit, but there's a very low number of stock and it's just designed to draw a lot of people to the store? I don't understand what is happening here..

    • +1

Hacked ebay account. Fake listing. Don’t waste your time. 😊

  • -1

WOOOOOOOHOOOO…. BACK ON AGAIN GUYS!!!! THIS TIME $5 LESS, ONLY $45.
