    I picked up two boxes from the last offer direct at Constitution Hill and it was an 'interesting' experience
    Beers were flavorsome (especially the porridge brown ale) and all new to me. 2 x 4 were bottled, 2 x 4 cans.
    Struggle to believe anyone pays $79 but at this level they are good value at ~$2.50 a bottle

    I also got a freebie 'nail' bottle opener - nice

    I'm far from a beer expert but can I ask, the beers that are $100 per bottle, do they taste like a beer? Do you drink them cold, or are the flat and you have them at red wine temp.
    Just wondering.

    Would love to taste one, one day but I couldn't spend that much on a beer or wine.

      Can't say anything about $100 bottles of beer but if you want to try something that's different that can (and should be I think) had at room temperature I would suggest getting a bottle of Founders Backwoods Bastard, it's a scotch ale that has been aged in bourbon barrels.
      Sells for around $13 a bottle but it's 11.2% abv so kind of understandable, you should be able to find it at a craft bottle shop.

      As a one off, for a bucks night, yes yes yes yes worth it
      Slightly chilled it warms from your hand and develops complex and changing aroma's etc

        So you drink it more like a wine, not like a cold beer in a glass that you can , for a better term, chug down?

          Think more like a brandy (glass) that warms the liquid over time from your hand
