What Is Your 'QC' Solution to iPhone?

Firstly this is not a PRO discussion, just for average users.

I know that using the iPad's charger is faster than the original one shipped with the iPhone.
This 'QC' is not that 'Quick' as some Android phone but in this way it is quicker, no doubt.

So the iPhone 8/8 plus/x finally supports quick charge (the official says we need to buy extra charger and cable, and it is expensive).
What is your solution to this then?

    Really? Apple are selling phones with quick charge but are shipping them with chargers that cant do it? Insane.

    I am normally in no rush to charge my phone - happy to let it sit on the coffee table at home or my desk at work and charge. If I did want it to charge faster I would use my iPad charger - not sure how much of a difference this makes however….

    Think they’ve done tests and it’s only a little bit faster anyway. But by that I mean it’s generally pretty quick, and a QC cable just enables it to go that bit quicker on top

    I charge my iPhone with my iPad charger and my iPad with my laptop charger (lighting to USB-C). Sometimes I even remember to charge my laptop :P

        I think that would work, haven't tried it. Would probably discharge faster than it charged if it was doing anything.

    Got this for $14.73.
    Got this for $25.

    Whole setup worked out only a few dollars more than buying this directly from Apple.

        I didn't even know that QC was a thing. I just know that any solution to a problem with iPhone is to buy an android.

          Lol yeah QC has been on android without an introduction for ages.
          When apple released the iPhone 8/+/X, it made such a song and dance about things that android phones have had for ages..
