  • Plus 50 cash back from Philips

  • blimey, you can buy 4 soocare x3's AND a bit of spare change left after.
    how good are these Philips?

    • Philips vs xiaomi
Most people will take the philips.
They are pretty good had one for nearly a year from an Amazon deal. Plus philips have world wide warranty.

    • IME Xiaomi are high quality products and competing brands are a ripoff. People have been exposed to marketing and formed all these crazy beliefs around brands such as one is able to work out how to wiggle a toothbrush a great deal better and this has an effect on your teeth which is of course stupidity.

    • International 2 years warranty regardless of purchasing country

      • lets just say the xoocas brokedown after 1 yr…..so in 2 yrs I spent $100 for two, that still leaves me with spare change no?
the question I wanted to know is how is the quality justify the price, because frankly, I find xoocas to be extremely good products for a fraction of Philips or any other sonic toothbrush for that matter.

        • Not sure what’s the neg for but warranty is something worth of consideration. I’m a xiaomi fan but I choose philips over xiaomi for the ease of mind when dealing with quality issue. Chances are things may break down in days or years. I’ve been using Sonicare for 5 years, had to swap 2 handles due to battery died after almost 2 years of use and the replacement lasts a couple of years. It’s also faster to locate replacement head from local shops. Plus can use my TGG concierge credit to buy new heads. So overall I wouldn’t consider philips is significantly expensive than xiaomi.

        • @allenhori: how did the process go? Was it quick or had to send yours back to them and then wait for evaluation and replace?

        • +1

@Dezeption: the process is very smooth except last time they did something funny (literally).

I've tried both US and AU based warranty services:
          US:
Call customer service, describe the fault, tell them your address (in US of course), they will send you a replacement first (through Fedex when I did it), with a satchel for shipping the faulty unit back free of charge. Post it back, done. This was for my shaver though not toothbrush.

          AU:
Email customer service (but you have to ring to find out the email address, it changed a couple of times in the recent 2 years). Describe the fault, provide model and serial number, shipping address. They will send you a replacement, and will not require you to send the faulty one back. Done.

Funny incident, I described in details my toothbrush battery seems to be dead and when I try to charge it the LED doesn't light up. I received the "replacement light bulb" through express post in about 4 days. It's a light bulb as thick as the handle of the toothbrush. Even if it is the LED faulty, I'd never expect a light bulb. I complained about it over the phone and received proper replacement in 3 days.

So generally they are very good at handling the things and no evaluation/sending back required in Australia for toothbrushes

        • @allenhori: thanks for thr detailed response. Sounds very good with there customers service. But can I ask what were the other faults?

        • @allenhori: each to their own. ps.I didnt neg you, I'm so poor I cant neg anyone :D

        • @Dezeption: all related to battery. My shaver won’t hold charge for more than 30 minutes after 1 year 10 month of usage, and it has a display that’s how I can tell.

Toothbrush similar issue, first replacement was due to it won’t vibrate as powerful as before so I asked for a replacement. Second one (bought separately) the handle just died, won’t turn on, no LED(thus the replacement bulb).

I bought the diamond clean recently during the fathers day cash back but have yet started using it. A friend of mine bought diamond clean from amazon UK deal and charger died for no reason, he then got a replacement charger with AU plug. That’s all the issue i know so far for toothbrushes.

My first airfloss broken due to design flaw and the liquid pumped inside the handle after 2 weeks of use, got replacement with a new batch, worked perfectly for 2 years now got no issue.

        • @super poor: cheers mate. I’d recommend philips for its customer service :)

  • Snagged one for $80 last week

    • I'm pissed buy payment didn't go through within 24 hours and as a result my order got cancelled. So fkn weird but whatever.

    • I bought two. Let's hope they're genuine.

    Sonicare Boom!

  • 3 years? Imo not reasonable

  • The purple is cool but it looks so stupid with the black head. How lazy to not even bother matching the head.

  • I can't seem to apply the promo code to this.
Says it can't be applied to this order.
