why would I make something like this up?
Think it stems from this issue - where referral codes could have changed. And Neil mentioned having people re-enter their referral codes.
This. Expiry is now set for 180 days but I'll keep an eye on the codes in the meantime.
Got that PM from OzB too, went to the page and saw that I had to reenter the code. I think booking.com has changed the code format, but I don't remember the way it used to be, so I can't be sure.
Mine used to be a five digit alpha code, now it's eight or so alphanumeric
It looks like from the slash in the middle that they've added another level of grouping.
the simplest and easiest solution is to :
go to - my account —> edit —> referrals
scroll down to booking.com and in the box enter "{removed}"
that will fix your code.
Error: This referral code is already in the system
keep trying.
