I got the blender from this deal last year Electrolux Masterpiece Collection Jug Blender - Silver $99 Pick up or + Shipping @ Harvey Norman
I think I used it about 30 times. Today I was making a smoothie in the smoothie mode and suddenly stopped, no power and won't turn back ON.
There is supposed to be 5 years warranty. Called up electrolux and was told there is no replacement and will arrange a refund through the store.
Anyone else got one these and with the motor no longer working?
Must be a common problem for them not to want to replace it, just take the refund.

Wonder what they'd say if mine broke down and I didn't have the invoice - it'd be good if they refunded $429 instead of $99! haha

Yep mine jus happened today. Hot was indicated, so it stopped blending. Now it won’t blend, has light but that’s it. Don’t even use it that much
Maybe just overloaded? Let it cool and try again?
If not just get a full refund.

I got given a omniblend mixer and bought a new vitamix mixer jug from DJ while on special.
It blends much much better than the electrolux.
