How big of a game can you hunt with this? 5 foot six, 70kgs?

This bow here a fantastic bow for your beginner Archer or advanced archer.

It has a draw weight between 5 and 70 pounds. 40-50 pounds is the legal limit to hunt depending what state you live in.

It goes from 12 to 30inches in draw length. This is a great advantage when your growing into your bow also if your changing from a kid to an adult. You can change the draw length in a matter of minutes.

    • depends how good a shot you are and how close you get.

Would this be helpful if someone breaks j to your home with a knife while you are home?

    • We strictly advise that you use the bow for archery or hunting purposes only.

      • +8

I mean technically, you'd be hunting the person that's breaking into your home with a knife…

    • was a case in vicrtoria where an archer shot a startled intruder as he was leaving the property……

  • do you need any licenses for this?

    • +1

You can buy and own bows in any state without a license afaik.

    • You do not need a license for a compound bow in Australia. You do need a licensed with a crossbow or firearm.

      • +1

and yet we're not allowed paintball guns lol

        • Or airsoft. Or gel ball guns.

        • @potplanty:

          Or sling shots (NSW)

      • You only need a license for a crossbow in some states.

        • NSW ??

        • @ruprectaus: If you can get written notice from a registered archery club you can use it for target shooting. Hunting is illegal regardless of any club memberships or notice.

    • Bear Archery has been around for nearly 80years and are one of the best brands on the market today. This is our best selling bow and have had great feedback. Most entry level bows are sold for around $600 plus without all the accessories. Hope this helps 👍

      • Thanks for the reply, happy to be so obviously proven wrong! Should have done a bit more research before being negative, sorry.

Bear is a very major archery brand.

    • You've never heard of Bear compound bows? Why do I get the feeling that you're feigning 'experience' to justify negging a deal you simply disapprove of?

Let's see if you similarly rear your head for the next firearms deal …

    • I've never heard of Bear compound bows, …you can get a far more reputable brand

Omg, I have never laughed so hard.

I remember using Bear bows when I was a kid back in the late 70’s. My dad still has his Bear compound bow from almost 40 years ago…

adjustability is good, my son started when he was 7and i kept on adjusting draw length and poundage on his bow till he was 10and lost interest.

arrows are a problem for kids as they outgrow the length.

Well priced and these are the basic things that you need.

I would advise any new archers to buy at a bricks and mortar store so they can get fitted out for draw length. If you buy online and don't know what you are doing, have fun adjusting draw length by yourself.

Hi FiftyCal. If you send us your measurements we will paper tune your bow to suit you before we send it out. It will be ready to hunt straight out of the box. Hope this helps, thanks.

        • clubs are great as they have people that can adjust the bow for you if you’ve never used a compound bow.

also arrows need to be the right length and most clubs can cut to size if too long.

you don’t need to be a member, some allow casual use of facilities and expertise for a while.

    • +1

it’s not an upcoming zombie apocalypse ….. it’s here already …… they walk the street looking at their phones bumping into things and cross at intersections against the lights …… they just don’t eat brains yet though the infection is spreading to car drivers.
