don't bother with the RacingVisions. tried 2 sets, got maximum 4 months use out of them (day/night usage). not really that much brighter or project further over the XtremeVisions.

OP those 4 example bargains would be much more effective if they showed prices.

  • Awesome! Got a pair of H7 Osram Night Breaker Unlimited for $26.06

  • This is good. They're usually only 20% off.

  • I've had 3 sets of Osram night breaker and they have all blown in 12 months on 2 different cars. The fact that the new night breaker laser has a 6 month warranty worries me a bit. YMMV but at least their customer service was good and I did get them replaced.

    • there is no magic formula here. V x A = W. To make the same materials bulb, tungsten and xenon brighter, they have to be using a lower voltage bulb design, and your vehicle pumps in more voltage, resulting in the brighter bulb. And they are brighter, but also hotter.

Check the images and bar charts on the back of the box, they state the lifetime is shorter.

I understand the ideas behind this, I was simply saying that if the standard ones blow pretty much exactly 12 months in, then one could assume you will be getting only 6 months or less from the new laser night breakers. It was just a statement on the value of these things, I wouldn't consider 6 months a great lifetime and if they blow outside that warranty then you are pretty screwed, go drop another $45 on a set.
