Does anyone have one of these and can comment on its performance? Thanks

I wouldn't expect a whole lot, it's only 2.1ch and doesn't have anything that special in it. I'm trying to find a dolby atmos soundbar for the $500 range, the surround sound on those is supposed to be great.. Start at 4mins: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96g5ZUQnU5A

      • To be fair if your going from tv speakers to this you are going to find a massive improvement. For all intents and purposes the reviews are pretty good for this unit.

If serious about audio, you would be looking for a dedicated system anyway so I think this still has a place as an improvement over tv speakers.

        • Would this unit turn on and off with the tv without the need for an extra remote?

      • Don't think you'll have much luck with that. The entry atmos soundbars are $800ish but they're only 3.1.2 so have no rears only upper speakers and i don't think it's worth having the upper ones but no rears.
Cheapest 5.1.2 ones are all about 1500ish.

  • Can anyone comment on the quality of this soundbar? Looking to use it with either, a 55N7/LG OLED pending black friday sales or for music via phone and bluetooth

i have mine coupled with rear wireless speakers.
Wait till tomor for the extra 10% ebay code.

  • Some say the Vizio SB3621 is a better buy at that price range, but im still trying to find one from Australia

Found it a bit cheaper via Bing Lee with 20% off. Pickup will be ~$160, ~$170 with delivery.

Was going to get one l, but looking at the 550 now. No discounts, but saw it at 399 via JB Hi Fi / Good Guys (nom eBay site), reduced by 200.

    • Oh nice one, they had it for $298 yesterday, looked like they dropped it by $100 to $198 today.

  • Just after a cheapie to pump up the TV speakers.

  • look for a soundbar
