  • I'll give this a nod. These are great prices, and it's their standard deal, though I'm seeing it less and less. Great quality. I've ordered maybe 15-20 prints over the years

Can you pay with Woolworths eWish cards? - after a bit research the answer is no

  • I'm trying to upload a 103Mb TIFF file but it doesn't seem to like it.

JPEGs upload fine as well as smaller TIFFs.

Is there a maximum file size limit?

    • +4

There is usually a bit in these offers where people say it downsamples anyway.

I usually upload at about 200dpi (the canvas weft will hide higher resolutions) with a minimal compressed JPEG and it turns out OK. Make sure you allow for the edges though, you need some border space without key details, but at the same time, visual interest when you look edge on.

One thing I feel some people might want to know is ensure your colour profile is set to sRGB for your photos. I don't think the fuji printers use the AdobeRGB profile, so your colours will look washed out if it's not sRGB.

thanks for the tip. is your name after the OSX software? if so, pretty great free software!

      • Not an Apple user, so this is a surprise to me…I've had this nickname since the 90s (obviously through different mediums)!

    • Thanks. I have never done canvas prints only the regular stuff. Do you need to do the usual oversaturate and increase the brightness/contrast of the image a little to compensate for monitor backlighting?

  • Nice, was waiting for one of these to print some cool outrun images.

    • as in the original arcade game?? care to share what you are looking to print?

      • +1

There are some really cool fan-made images on reddit.com/r/outrun

  • Others on sale as well. Which is better - canvas, glass or metal?

    • Reviews (and personal experience) say the canvases are good, but that the glass or metal leave something to be desired (never personally had one).

Iphone 7+ photos, would they be sufficient to be printed on one of these ?

    • +1

I have some beauties I took with an iPhone 5, so 7+ is definitely good enough quality

      • Cheers.
Not exactly good with printing my own photos so far haha, kmart printed ones didnt turn out so great… Will try again tonight with this though !

        • +1

Forget Kmart. They're horrible. If you're going to use kiosk styles, stick with the fuji machines (i.e. Big W). They seem to be much better.

  • Offer Ends 29.11, anyone know if we can order and decide the print later or do we have to have the print finilised?

    • Finalised I think.

      • I think so. Got my order in for 2 tonight.

  • how about this 30"x40" for $49.91 delivered. or same size with the OP deal for $45.91

  • Their app says the resolution of my pic is too low, even though the original is 11550x3850. I have a feeling it's not uploading the full 8MB photo.

  • Crap. Forgot to place my order.

    • He who hesitates is lost.

I'm sure it will be around again at some point.

      • The standard canvases are still on sale!

        • Yeah, they have a variety of other sales going on as well, such as the above mentioned personalised Santa hats.
