No, overseas games won't work according to a Harvey Norman salesman I spoke too. I Binged it, and it says overseas games do work. Don't know if Bing is correct or Harvey Norman.
All games ARE region-free for PS3. They will work on AUS consoles.
But, some games might have region restrictions for online play/DLC
(I bought Uncharted 2 from play-asia: Have been playing online now forever. Only problem faced - had to Hong Kong PSN cards to download content from HK PSN).

Webiste looks extremely similar to dvd.co.uk. I assume that like dvd.co.uk, the VAT is removed for Australian buyers bringing the price down to £31.45 + postage = approx $53 AUD. Otherwise, the deal isn't very good.
Same price at dvd.co.uk.
So better of buying from there, if don't want to go through the checking if base removes VAT or not.

they don't add VAT, came out at $53 in the end, best deal I've seen so far.
