I haven't been able to scoop up any of the previous deals due to timing but I'm finally ready to get a Nintendo switch, problem is within the past week I haven't seen a good deal and I need one by Sunday next week!
Are there even any average deals out right now? I'm not fussed on an amazing one like at Big W because I'll get the tax back due to travelling overseas.

Keep an eye on Gumtree, I just got one with Zelda and Mario Odyssey for $380. Which is great because they were like the only two games I'm interested in.
Also if you were planning to buy one anyway, but didn't have money at the time, you should put it on laybuy to secure the good price and then you can pay it off when you're ready. Only costs like $2 to set up a laybuy (at Target at least, probably similar elsewhere).
I have only been casually looking too in the last few days, but so far quite disappointing:
Most places want $469.
Son wants 3 games (Super MARIO Odyssey, MARIO Kart 8 Deluxe and Pokken Tournament Dx) … I said I would buy the console and he can buy his games with Christmas monies etc.
Usually bundle deals are offered by the bigger shops, but apparently they will cost more! Have seen a special ‘bundle’ deal of Switch and Super MARIO Odyssey game (about $67) for $547 (Kogan $570) so dearer if you buy these as a bundle … What the ?! I even sent an email to ask (either Dick Smith or Kogan) why; acknowledged receiving my email and would get back to me … never did … no surprises there. JB is also offering the bundle as a ‘special.’ How disappointing Toys’R’Us don’t sell the games etc anymore; have bought quite a lot from them in the past.
BigW and Target had Switch for *$449 and the Super MARIO Odyssey game $69 (BigW) *$65 Target = $514 Total … much cheaper than a bundle deal of $547 … or more!!!
Kogan has Switch only $467… Plus delivery charges …
Anyways, just do the math if you are looking at any ‘special’ bundle deal; wonder who has been caught on the bundle price so far.
EB Games want $469 for Switch, $79.95 for Super MARIO Odyssey and MARIO Kart8, Pokken Tournament for $89.95, so even dearer. But, they usually will price match anything if you can produce proof of rival shops ads.
I did notice JB in it’s latest advertising brochure “JB’s Top Christmas Gifts” has “Buy a $100 JB gift card! Get a Bonus $10 JB coupon”. Coupon offer ends 24/12/17 … Coupon redeemable until 31/12/17. “See in store or online for our latest price!”

Rang JB and asked if I purchased several of the $100 gift cards, if buying something with the gift cards and stacking the $10 coupons was possible in purchasing something but advised no.
The Target eBay deal that JimJim reported looks best so far $449, or $426.55 with the P5OZZIE deal.

Bigw will have a switch plus Mario Odysseus for for 499 next catalogue. 2 other game choices but didn't really look.
Will there be different options like Mario Poseidon or Mario Hercules?

This is not a negative comment towards you Kyal your just the messenger but (profanity) that is a an awful deal compared to the ones 1-2 weeks ago Switch for $370 at Big W and $435 with Mario on Ebay. I (profanity) up by missing out on them I was waiting to get paid for the week but im dissapointed if something like $500 with Mario is the best we are going to get for the rest of the holiday.
Next time that happens, put it on layby to secure the price
I picked up a Neon Switch for $369 yesterday, used the Black Friday screenshot from Big W at EB Games. Sales associate didn't even check. Also told him Skyrim and BOTW was $49 at Big W so $467 for a Switch and those awesome games!

Have just paid $399 and collected from JB HiFi. Was about to order through Amazon (same price free post), as EB Games wouldn't price match on BigW's $367 price of a week ago.
I believe Harvey Norman is offering same price too now.
I bought online from Amazon. Checked out JB HiFi and Harvey Norman before buying from Amazon, they hadn't dropped their prices at that stage. Went to Big W and they haven't dropped their price …yet.
Yeah, AU Amazon has the Switch for $399, I ordered one last night, free postage etc. JB Hi Fi has updated their website today and are selling for $399 as well (the same as their 1 day sale last week). Target/Big W/EB have not had any changes in price on their website at the time of posting this.
