Hi all, just wondering if it's technically possible to install a "regular" dashcam to function as a rear cam. I understand the advantages in having a 2-ch camera, but I can't really afford it now. I currently have one dashcam installed already, but would like to add another to the back. Will it get enough juice? I have a Xiaomi splitter.

Yes I have one of these cheap dash cams from Gearbest and plugged into the rear cigarette lighter port. Works great.
same. Only issue I found was the angle of the mount was quite restrictive on a rear window. They're typically designed for the angled front windscreen. My 4WD has a 'flat' rear window.
