    Universal Phone Ring Holder

    what is a phone ring?

    • +4

A ring attached behind a phone

    • +5

when a phone is called it makes a sound also known as its ring

      • True. But I was answering based on his question :)

    • It sticks to the back case.
Allows finger to hold it easily with zero (assuming secure stick) chance of dropping and easier to move thumb around screen single handed since you aren't gripping.

      • Correct! And here, it will also act as a stand to let the phone rest on it.

      • -4

not sure I'd trust the glue to hold considering it's only 41 cents.

        • +6

          ok upto u

it will stick better if you don't apply the coupon and pay usd 1.99 full price instead.

        • @phunkydude: lol spot on

    • +8

It’s a ring you put on the phone when you are married to it.

Warning: some low quality rings can easily snap at the swivel. Your phone can drop unexpectedly.

  • Is the adhesive intended to stick once and never remove, or is it removable?

If it's washable, I can't imagine it being very strong. The adhesive I wouldn't count on. You'd risk dropping your phone and breaking it.

And if it's permanent, well, you figure out why that's a bad idea.

    Great Viscosity

This is what sold me. I like my products with great viscosity. Low viscosity products suck!

Friend gave me a spare and decided to put it on a phone I was going to replace soon anyway and they turned out a lot more useful than what I imagined them to be.

    Pros:

    • Great as a stand for your phone at your desk and beside table. I use it to look at notifications without having to look down/pick up the phone
    • If you stick it on closer to the bottom half of the phone, it can be used as a stand in portrait orientation. I'd suggest sticking it there anyway since I feel like you leave your hand closer to the bottom anyway, especially when typing
    • Feels a bit safer carrying my phone around with me always having a finger in the ring
    • This will probably vary by brand, but I've had no issues with the adhesive after some 6 months of use (the one I have is from Miniso). Prolonged use of your phone which heats it up doesn't seem to have an affect on the adhesive. I've probably heard more stories online of swivel failure, than glue failure.

    Cons:

    • It's annoying for times when you just want to lay your phone flat on its back. You'll have to take an extra second or two to set up the stand and place your phone down if you don't want it laying awkwardly on your table or something.
    • If you wear skinny pants, you will definitely feel the swivel if you have the back of the phone facing your leg. If you have swivel facing outwards, I can imagine it doing a bit more damage to your pants, kinda like how keys do in a well worn pair of pants. In suit trousers, it seems to increase the profile of your phone regardless of what direction the phone is facing. I sometimes I put my phone in my jacket pocket anyway so it's not quite noticeable.
    • Can't imagine how you could easily take it off. The phone can get quite warm and it doesn't seem to affect the adhesive. It would probably require some amount of prying to remove it. Some of my friends have them stuck on cases, despite some brands suggesting you don't.
    • Thanks for the summary. I've avoided getting these but since my phone is already on the replace in time list (cracked the screen) maybe I'll give it a go on this one anyway.

  • The most secure way to hold a phone.

  • These seem to be popular in China. Everyone had them over there. Here, I've only seen Chinese people with them.

    • Mainly in countries where random street grabs are more common. Every "watch for these street thief scam" videos are from China, Malaysia, Indonesia, etc.

Source: many relos who got theirs from other relos overseas lol

Incorrect I am watching British people stealing phones on mopeds.

Thanks OP. Just placed order and found this on their site

  • I had one of these. Agree with the feedback above. I did find it really useful except it interfered with the NFC read on my phone (LG g6 reads from the back). Also I broke the swivel pretty quickly.

    Bought one.

    the item is free.
    AUD $0.41 was for shipping.

    Thanks OP.

  • Just a fair warning about these things; Some of the cheaper ones will fall apart really easily.

I bought one for almost nothing in BKK and it lasted YEARS. I bought a $3 one on eBay last month and it lasted a week. Had it fallen off at the wrong time it would have destroyed my phone.

Ordered one of these. Came out to 41c. Thanks for the deal, I'll test it out before I trust it though.

    • how are you gonna test it ?

how long before you put your trust on it ?

the geekbuying ones is 20c cheaper

  • "This Universal Phone Ring Holder is not only a grip, but also can be a small phone stand holder, which effectively help to alleviate cervical fatigue after long time…"
