      just claimed online.

      • Cheers. Must have finally changed their claiming system in the last 3 weeks.

        • Used to be $5 cash back. When I did it back then, by the time you mail them in plus the patrol cost to the post office, you probably get back only less than $3 cash back. With online this time is better, unfortunately telfast doesn’t work well for me.

      • claim approved already. impressive.

  • For those who may prefer Claratyne at CWH. Same price for 75s $6 cash back.

Does Chemist Warehouse stock the generic versions? I find that they work just as well, but can't find the current prices on their web site.

    • Yes, just ask the pharmacist. You can get generic Zyrtec as well. They don't advertise generics because the profit margins are very low

      • Generic margins are much higher. They don't advertise generics because generic companies don't subsidise the marketing

Is telfast also a Chinese tablet (tablet as in electronic using Android) brand?

Just going to leave this here: Skip hay fever tablets: US guidelines confirm corticosteriod nasal sprays are best. Can vouch Nasonex spray works for me better than pills.

      For hayfever, probably.

For the range of other allergic reactions that antihistamines work for, probably not.

yes. need antihistamines to stop my itchy hands from shopping.

Nasonex comes in a generic too, Azonaire is always $11.99 at CW for the 140 spray size.

      • Thanks for the info, didn't know about the generic one, will definitely get it next time.

    • Came here to say this. For Hayfever this spray has made me no longer despise 1/4 of the year. Its a Godsend! Never going back to pills.

  • just ran out of tablets so this is perfect. Thanks OP

  • On a serious note, can anyone recommend a non-drowsy antihistamine that's readily available in Oz? All the usual 1-per-day tabs are crap. Zyrtex, pfft. They have this awesome stuff over in Europe, everyone is different of course, but for me it kills all allergies within 20mins including food based ones. Active incredient is Acrivastine which doesn't seem to exist here unfortunately.

    • Aerius is the best oral antihistamine that's readily available here IMO, plus Nasonex/Azonaire for allergic rhinitis.

      • Aerius doesn't do much, sure better than telfast etc but doesn't work for food based allergies at all. Thanks for the comment though.

  • On the same topic, has anyone had luck with immunotherapy treatments of allergies such as hayfever?

  • They declined my claim as I already claimed in March this year! But this is a different promo and none said anything about it!! So I replied saying this is false advertising! See what they say…
