Hi Ozbargainers,

As soon as Spring weather breaks we have a huge rush on Minoxidil and pretty much everyone either runs out of stock or price jacks. In preparation of the upcoming warm weather I have ordered in a huge supply of Generic Health Minoxidil 5% Extra Strength. When I last ran a Minox deal I received a few messages from new Minox users asking for smaller quantities, as my post followers would be aware as postage is (generally) fixed, small quantities of any medication (delivered) can become inefficient to sell, process and post.

Anyway, our great supplier at Generic Health has bundled a few sleeves of 10x tab Cetrine 10mg to sweeten the deal, and I still have a few cartons of Ibuprofen and Nasal decongestant left over from previous deals I am happy to offer up as an bonus items tonight.

As with my last few deals, I will wear the satchel postage costs of this item, every item will ship with tracking.

Item: 2x 180ml Minoxidil Extra Strength (3 + 3 = 6 Month supply)
Price: $58.99 after code
Code: 5off
Link:https://pharmacysavings.com.au/products/minoxidil-extra-strength-5-180ml-regaine-generic-6-month-for-men-woman-regular-post
Delivery: FREE with tracking, please select free postage at checkout (if you require express post this is available at a fee)
Bonus: Either: 10x Cetirizine 10mg or 200x Spray Dose Nasal Decongestant or 48x Ibuprofen 200mg
Exp: All Minoxidil is Early to mid 2027 (we have received mixed batches which is frustrating but all is 2027)

In before the glass half empty team chime in that it is cheaper per month to buy a 9 month supply - yes this is true, I have rebooted this older 9 months (3 bottle) Ozb deal for anyone interested) https://pharmacysavings.com.au/products/minoxidil-extra-stre…

Great deal. Ditching the wig next summer. 😉 Thanks!

Just FYI in case people didn't know like me, this stuff is highly toxic to cats/dogs. Nothing happened to me personally, but after doing some research seems like even traces of it on your pillowcase/bedding can harm your pets. I had to stop using just in case :(

  • OP no more free shipping?

    • Shipping is free - not sure why the deal was reported or flagged

      • Apologies mate, my bad!

      • Ordered and never got delivered, AusPost says the address on the tracking was not my address, all my emails to PharmacySavings has been ignored, now I got to eff around with a chargeback.

  • Fly to Istanbul with Turkish Hairlines and fix the problem once and for all

  • “As soon as Spring weather breaks we have a huge rush on Minoxidil and pretty much everyone either runs out of stock or price jacks”

Hmm I wonder why this stuff is seasonal? Don’t you have to take it forever?

  • Will this be back in stock soon?

  • @jason101 looks like sold out with bonus items.

  • Negging as this deal mentions All Minoxidil has expiry of 2027 with a link to the cheaper 3 bottle order page just under that text. My 3 bottle order came in with expiry of Aug 26 for 2 of the 3 bottles. When reached out to OP, they are referring to an old expired deal where no expiry is mentioned. If OP knew that old deal was expired, they should have either created a new one or explicitly mentioned that the expiry date applies to 2 bottle orders only.
    Very dodgy

PSA: If you have ordered, please double check the expiry date of each bottle.

    Deal Description mentions:
Exp: All Minoxidil is Early to mid 2027 (we have received mixed batches which is frustrating but all is 2027)

Please note, this buyer bought an alternate listing from our website (another Ozbargain deal) and the stock allocated to the deal they purchased was shipped to them, they were not happy to receive product from a different batch to than noted in this listing, I offered to send free bonus product we have in stock or take a return for a full refund.

Rather than receive free product or return for a full refund - they simply requested/demanded I sent more product to them (-/+ $60 value which I declined) - they then chose to publicly disparage me and no doubt will now endlessly neg my deals and try and dissuade clients from buying from me - welcome to online retail in Australia in 2025, where people come out punching if they don't get their own way.

For complete transparency my last reply to this client is noted below:

There is no mistake - we list deal (deal A) and sell from batch A (for a certain listed price), your purchased deal B (for a certain listed price, you received stock allocated to batch B). This is common, pretty much every deal posted for the past 5 years has run like this - the dates quoted in the deal are accurate for that deal, not all listings on the website and not for previous deals listed.

We have a difference of view - I cannot change this, all I can do is ask you to take a pragmatic in your outlook on the situation in that you have 9 months to use stock that should only take 6 months to consume - if you don't agree this is OK, but to accuse us of passing off old stock is not really accurate or fair.

I have offered to send you bonus product we have on hand at no cost - but if you are determined to take a principal approach that I am wrong and you are right, please return all stock for a full refund - just mark the original packing as return to sender, receiver to pay, no hard feelings our end, we can agree to disagree. If stock is returned in sealed resalable condition, you will receive a full refund and we can all move on without endless debate about who is right and who is wrong.

just so that its clear for everyone..
Fact 1: At the time of purchase on 17th Oct, this was the only deal 'Active' for this product by this seller. The prev deals expired on 6th Aug and the one before that expired on 1 June, 13 Dec 24 and so on.
Fact 2: This Active deal has 2 parts, the link to the thumbnail takes to the 2 bottle page of the sellers website. The link in the description takes to the 3 bottle page of the sellers website. I had clicked on the 3 bottle link from the active deal description.
Fact 3: This Active deal description clearly mentions that All Minoxidil has expiry of Early to mid 2027.
Fact 4: When I received 2 bottles which were not as described in the Active deal, I reached out to OP asking for clarification.
Fact 5: The response was no less than condescending, convincing me to consume it within the expiry with complete disregard to the fact that an older stock was pushed against a new deal. They didnt even consider that I might have stock on hand and consuming this in the timeframe is not possible. The seller kept pointing to a deal which was expired in Aug and kept pushing that I made purchase from the expired deal. My moot point being seller not honouring the advertised expiry date whereas they trying to find ways convincing me to consume the product as supplied.
Fact 6: When I tried reasoning with the seller that I would have still accepted if 1 of the 3 bottles were short dated as I already have enough on hand and cannot consume 2 bottles within Aug timeframe, the seller offered one of the bonus items to compensate for this mistake, which ofcourse cant replace the use of this product.
Fact 7: Finally, when I stood my ground, the seller has now asked to return all stock for full refund with caveat that it has to be in sealed resalable condition. The seller is fully aware that this product does not come in "sealed packaging", the bottles are just cap-closed with no seal and placed in a box. In fact, their dispatch was so poor tht one bottle was packed separate to its box. Going by the way in which the seller is taking advantage of gullible buyers, there is no way they are going to honour the refund and similar to excuses given previously, they would come up with more excuses to not refund the order.

If the seller thinks that this is public disparaging, then I can only wish them good luck with their online retail practice, with such a service there is no need for anyone to dissuade anybody. One should rather think twice before running an online business if they dont care about and have a prejudiced view about their customers.
