With Amazon gaming deals now available, just saw a few games at pretty cheap prices and thought other OZbargainers might be keen. Note if order value is less than $49, delivery is $6 to Sydney Metro. Sample of the deals

  • Should be next day delivery standard

Battlefront is NOT a deal under ANY price.

    • +10

Given how quickly its dropped to $39… might be free before end of the year!

      • +10

Its basically a not Free F2P with in app purchases :-P

      • +6

Good, free is about the price point I would expect for a game with pay2win mechanics to cost.

      • +6

I’d consider playing it, if they paid me $39.

        • -6

I'd consider playing it, if it wasn't Star Wars

    • Bah! Just bought one game and had to pay delivery; wanted this too but wasn't there this morning!

    • UK account not required and will work fine with your AU account.

      • My bad, but will this still require you to purchase any DLC's from the UK store?

        • +1

Nah - you can purchase them from the AU store. Any games from Europe are fine - it's just the US and Asian stuff that you have to worry about a different PSN account.

        • @Third_Gear: That makes sense then, thank you! :)

    • -1

UK version is the same as Australian.

Good price for the Witcher 3. Still one of the best a couple of years on.

Where are all the switch game deals?

    • I was wondering the same thing….prices seem to be so stable across all the retailers.

      • +4

Nintendo games always seem to hold steady :-/

Most WiiU first party games are still $50+ and the bloody thing is dead :-P

        • Parents buying for kids don't care so much about finding big discounts and don't always know that a game has been out for ages and shouldn't be purchased at full RRP. They just walk into their local store and buy the game their kid wants or follow whatever advice they're given by the salesmen.
The same thing happens with the LEGO games on PS4/Xbox. Close to release price even after a new version has been released.

@Viper8: you sir just described EBGames target market ;)

        • +2

          @Viper8:

That culture is changing as the new generation of parents had Pikachu in their back pocket as a kid. I always look for the best price for my kids as it means I can buy them(me) more games.

    • Was hoping the same. Not impressed by Amazon AU so far

Need help with the COD WWII PC version. Stuck on the fighter plane mission. Can't seem to shoot down any enemy fighters with the keyboard and mouse lol. Can this mission be bypassed or is there any hacks to overcome this.

      git gud

  • $49 for COD WII is the lowest so far in AU? Lower than previous HN’s $54

  • Isn’t COD WWII still $54 @ HN?

  • +2

Classic price everything just under the free delivery minimum…

  • Can EB price match these?

    • +1

Id be very suprised if they did.

    • I know HN didn't (but hopefully eventually they will or they'll lose out) on the premise that their price match guarantee only price matches brick and mortar stores with an Australia wide presence (Big W, Target, JB etc)

  • Is amazon stock AU or grey import for games?

    • +1

Personally I don't know, but reading from comments, they mention its AU

  • +1

Priced matched cod ww11 at jb hi fi !!

    • +1

As johnny drama would say "VICTOREE!"

    • Including or excluding shipping?

      • I got price match at EB excluding shipping. If you dont mention anything, they will match whatever price on website.
