Boxing Day Deals on Shirts and Suits

I am looking to buy a suit and few shirts for work. I can cough up $400 or so for a good suit. Since this is not urgent what are the places I should look for on boxing day for big discounts? I would like to go these stores before hand and try out their suits and then narrow in on brands which I like.

I never purchased suits in Sydney so I am looking for suggestions and deals.

    • And Myer. Both will open at 5 a.m. if you're game to brave the crazies who shop at that time.

I find DJs has a larger (and maybe better quality/brands) range of suits and shirts, but any hurry to check out both before hand then only go to one on the day… Both if you can be bothered…

Hey I know it's late, but I got one very nice suit from Roger David for around your budget, outside sales periods. I also got two pretty nice suits for $450 at Peter Jackson in Birkenhead Point.

I concur. Plus the ginger haired dude there was top bloke.

      • Dude! Was he speaking in absolute hilarious riddles to you as well? What a guy. Very helpful, nice, and funny.

  • If you can be bothered digging around matching suits to pants, MJ Bale have really nice suits under $400

Just for reference, I have MJ Bale, TM Lewin, and a couple other brands, but MJ Bale is my favourite in terms of fabric, cut and comfort.

  • Anyone knows where to get tailor made suit shirt and pants that is good but not too expensive?

  • If you on the slender side, have a look at Brooksfield. Really good fit and have modern designs. The shirts are cut so they can also be worn un-tucked.

Also I saw a few versache and z zenga suits on ozsale a few days ago for $300-$700 odd. Very limited sizes however.
