How do I ensure I get the cheapest AUD price possible
* To avoid higher currency conversion rates and to get cheapest price from these Chinese websites, you should get a credit card that charges zero currency conversion fees. 28Degrees, Bankwest Zero, Coles Mastercard are generally popular. Irrespective of what credit card you use, always choose to pay in USD on these Chinese websites, (Choose "USD" from top left hand corner). Then Why would this phone be "highly anticipated" ?

Even if you dont think you need B28 if you're in Australia the phone should have B28

Then Why would this phone be "highly anticipated" ?

Because some people do not live in Australia.

Even if you dont think you need B28 if you're in Australia the phone should have B28

I have had a Xiaomi phone without B28, and it made zero difference to me. 4G reception all the way. Typically 4G+ even.

I'm with Vodafone so why would I care about band 28?

        • +1

I'm loving my Xiaomi Mi 6 (Gearbest special, $360 AUD delivered). No B28. Using Telstra. Working fine for me almost everywhere. Was in rural areas up in the Hunter and still got 4G reception. Arguably even HSDPA is good enough for majority of every day usage (Telstra does 10-20Mbit on HSDPA over NEXTG 850Mhz).

  • I'm still confused - why does the note 3 have a better processor than the note 4? If it's incrementing downwards, that's a weird af product naming system.

    • +2

The note 4 that you're talking about is part of the 'Redmi' series, which is not as high-end as this phone.

yep redmi Note 3 "Kate" still the best Xiaomi phone and has B28 :)

I believe you are referring to the Redmi series. Those are a different product range. These guys have so many phone models it's a chore trying to keep track.

no band 28 and no headphone jack, nothing to see here boys

  • I have had a xiaomi phone whit a exactly perfect product. Especially The 4G NETWORK which means the speed was fabulous:)

  • High quality with reasonable price

    • $24.18 USD more for the blue one and free shipping is by slow registered post.

Would have bought it if the blue one is the same price as the black + expedited shipping.

Store rep, any chances of a deal?

    • Will this deal be resurrected anytime soon? I'm in the market for a phone.

  • Great specs, hopefully working with no issues.

Had 2x xiaomi note 3's, never again.

    • did you have bad experience with xiaomi phones? (I assume you had redmi note 3, not mi note 3)
