    Speed: 5m/s
    Bluetooth range: 20m
It will go out of range after 4 seconds of moving away from the remote. Who had the brilliant idea of using bluetooth for something like this?

    • They might have been swimming around in their backyard pool when they thought of it.

      • swimming at 5m/s ?

Bought it in one of the last sales for around same price. Wouldn't buy it again.

    • Thanks for the review, will pass on this now.

Flight time roughly 5 minutes which are a joke, software is OK but not the best. Many better options out there for same or less money

  • I got one last year when they were on sale and it's a pretty good learner drone. Sure, it's not all automatic and fancy but it has enough features to help you learn how to fly and then you can move onto a bigger and better toy. For $50 I'd rather mess this up completely than screw up a $1k drone.

    • Everything you can do with it can be done with most simulators. There's not much you can learn with realistic max distance of 10m if a proper drone flies hundreds of meters in distance and probably 100m high

  • I have one these, but only for the drone. Threw the rest of the hydrofoil out straight away. Battery lasts about 8 minutes. Gets blown away in the wind. You can adjust the flight settings and do stunts. You can actually get it going very fast outside with a few tweaks. Range tops out around 25 metres which is fine on a small drone since you'll lose vision soon after. Battery takes about 20 to 30 minutes to charge abd is just via USB into the back of the drone. Might get another.
